Going thru a little stree right now
Hi everyone this is Elodie Fleming. This article is to express some of my frustration. I have been working on my product arsiduously and I just can't seem to be able to move on.
I have been going over the lesson but just can't seem to get thru and right now I'm not feeling so well.. I have applied to another affiliate company and I have given a link to promotel their products.
My problem is where do I place their link on my website and how do I get the link from their sitr to mine. Yes Kyle referred to the like in WA and finding and using the affiliate link on my site.
I would like to get the other link to my site to promote their product. In level three we are asked to add three affiliate links to my content..
My biggest frustrarion is to get the affiliated to my content. Do I have to write content about or reveiw on the product even though you are not privy to the product as yet.

Yes, understanding and using affiliate links is definitely a big step.
So I see you have been accepted by an Affiliate Program and you have a link to promote their product.

Setting the stage
The ultimate goal is to make money when a visitor clicks on the affiliate link you place on your website. But to get the visitor to your website to find the product you need a page or blog. The content you place on your page or blog is important because you want the search engines to rank it so when someone types in your "product keyword" your page will be presented in the search results.
Maybe to get a feel for, take your product keyword and type it is google. See what comes up in the search results. This will give you an idea what can happen to a page or blog you write.
Steps for writing a page or blog
So you will be creating a new WP page or blog about your product.
Steps
1) Check Jaaxy for some good keyword options
2) Based on your keyword discuss it thoroughly (try to get at least 1000 words. More than that is better. If you need some content ideas go to google as ask a question about your product. Google usually gives you some "people also ask" questions which you can include in your content.
3) Once you have your page post done (publishing is OK before you add the affiliate link).
Affiliate link action.
4) Get the link from the affiliate program. It will probably be in HTML format. (coding format). If it is this means you need to be in the WP text button.
5) Place your affiliate link towards the bottom of your page where you mention your product buy link.
A link will look something like the following

In the WP Text tab you need to have the link enclosed with YOUR TEXT FOR YOUR PRODUCT

Hi - yes, ideally you need to review the product. Your readers will be interested in your opinion, why you are recommending them to buy this product. Is it good value for money, how will it benefit them and solve a problem they may be having, are there any downsides to it, etc.

Hi jghwebbrand thank you kindly for you extensive information and reply. I an still a little confused on the last part about Affiliate in Action. I understood most of the text but my biggest challenge is moving the link from the affiliate company to get it to post on my page. One big favor, could you kindly help me with a one on one please ‘cause I stlill have the challenge with my affiliate link on my site.
