Checking in to say hello!

A couple of days ago, I received a message that I was at my one month point with WA. I couldn't believe it! It has been a whirlwind of training, networking and hard work. I have really enjoyed my month here and as I have posted many times, I absolutely love the community support and help. It has been fascinating to me seeing everyones different creative approaches to niches and how they have built out their sites.

On the other side, as I have done some of my own searching for things outside the WA community, I have really started "noticing" other peoples websites. LOL brought a whole new light to surfing the web when I know what is "behind the curtain". It has been an eye-opening, fast paced, whirlwind and I would not have changed a moment of it!

Wins for me:

• My website (after changing the theme 3 or 4 times), now has a nice classy theme that I am extremely proud of
  
• I have had five posts indexed whoop whoop!!
• Made new friends that are awesome on WA!

Slow down for me...for a minute

• Applied for Google AdSense and was denied temporarily. Took the wind out of my sails for a minute, but after speaking with some people here, determined that is actually pretty normal at this point with my fledgling site. So I am better now :)
  

Thank you to everyone who has extended kind words of encouragement and reached out individually to offer assistance. I have tried to pay that same behavior forward as I want to continue on that welcoming experience for other newcomers.
