do your diligences, you dont want to start using gif and find out a year from now that they have been removed from your post or reaching out to you to take them down, it will not be fun.
Technically yuo can, but i would ALWAYS give credit to where the image came from.
You may do better creating your own GIF at one of the hundreds of sites out there where yuo can create GiIF images.
Honetly, you could probably do it and get away with it, but I wouldnt advise it.

From what I read on their site, You can use what is considered public but whatever you put on there that is in the public area can be used as well. As RAFStuart said BE CAREFUL.
