In order for my product to show, using the url it has to be followed by /shop....why is this?
I have found that my url has to be followed by shop. why?

site doesn't show product but store does...unfortunately when using url site comes up
Woocommerce is a free plugin, with very little support. When you buy the Woo themes and addons, you also get access to their own support forums.
You would only use it if you are selling your own products. Are you?
If you are promoting affiliate products, which is what WA teaches, woocommerce is not needed although you can buy a WooCommerce theme and adapt it to your own site but it does take a bit of know-how.
Explain a bit more what you are wanting to do with your website, what kind of products or niche you are in, etc, so I can point you in the right direction.

Hi Jude, Im having a bad time setting this up. Can you combine the two, The site/shop looks different and I just want one home page to set up as its becoming complicated and im fairly new. I have products to sell.
I don't use WooCommerce, so I'm not the best one to help you.
You can type "woocommerce" into the WA search bar and read replies by WA members who have experience with it. For example, Mark Tait who uses Woo themes might be able to help you out.
And you can scroll down to the end of the WA search results list and put a new question to the community, with the subject title: "Need help from other Woocommerce users" and explain your specific issue.

P.S. The recent update to WP 4.5 has some bugs, so that might be a factor if you have updated your site.

Thanks Jude. I've updated to 4.5, I don't think I have any bugs thank god as got enough headaches. I headed over to the support forum and got a link to some help. I did ask a question on WA but didn't get any replies.

You asked about MaxStore theme. Doubt whether many members here use or know about that theme.
Perhaps next time mention woocommerce in the title as that might attract responses because more people here know what it is.
When you type 'woocommerce' in the WA search bar and read those discussion threads, you can find responses by members who use or know about that plugin. I suggest you follow them and that way there is a better chance one of them will see your question. ~Jude

You probably have a shop page with your products. That's why it shows when you type it.
