About ElijahRayne
Joined November 2015
I am a self-motivated father of two, who is simply jaded with the mundane jobs available in order to simply attempt to sustain my current status; let alone actually progress somewhere. It's like, I need money to go to college, I need money for bills, and I need money for any sort of family time out or leisure. Tired of not making enough money for the effort I put into my job, I simply wish to augment my income in almost any form possible. Upon initially finding out about Wealthy Affiliate, I was skeptical, as I am now still. (Of course.) But I am determined to put in a fair amount of effort in order to see any results this upcoming week. I also seek to educate myself further in this field regardless of results, just to find the root of the hype. (Money? Hopefully!!)

That's all for now.

Best regards,
Elijah

Top 7 NON-Financial goals
1. Time- Not having to go to work as much frees up more of this precious resource
2. Education- You learn something new everyday, well, with more time, you more opportunity to learn
3. Family- I could possibly get black-sheeped for setting education above family, but the truth is that they are relatively the same to me; Without a decent education, I CAN'T prepare the success for my family properly; Vice-Versa, without my family I would have little to no motivation to educate myself for their success, this is a bit of an ouroboros for me
4. Travel- Getting outside your normal boundaries is very important to your growth as a person, we need to sometimes be on the outside looking in, or rather the inside looking out of a separate culture
5. Helping Others- With less time that I spend having to stabilize myself, I am able to help others in all walks of life; Whether it be, rehabilitation, advice, emotional support, hopefully even monetary support one day
6. Exercise- Getting in and staying in shape is what I consider to be essential to my overall health, with more time, this becomes a daily routine, instead of something that has to be FIT in because of preexisting obligations
7. Hobbies- and Leisure- Ahhh!! Finally, a chance to express myself as a whole and enjoy every single moment of it, 'Nuff said. (;

Money Goals
I think that anywhere between $200-$500 a month would be nice, given appropriate time, of course.
I would consider anything over $2000 a month to be incredible, given my current financial situation.
If this works like I believe it should, it's perfectly capable of replacing a part-time job; In other words, if I am satisfied in the slightest about the amount of income I receive using this program, I fully plan to invest more time proportionally with how much more I believe is obtainable.
1
Money I would be happy earning
2
Money I would be ecstatic earning
3
Time I'm willing to invest to achieve my goals

When I was trying to figure out what my niche was going to be, I just took a couple hours out of my day, sat down out in nature with a fresh cup of coffee, a pad and a pen....focused my mind on all the things I love in life and just began writing them down. I've included some of those on my profile page...you're more than welcome to go check them out....maybe they'll give you some ideas. :-)

Hey Elijah! Just wanted to follow up and see how you're doing so far. Hope you've been enjoying the training offered here and the community as well.

I wanted to share with you a training I wrote here at Wealthy Affiliate. It's called "9 Tips for Internet Marketing Beginners" and it walks you through some of the things I've learned since joining Wealthy Affiliate over 5 years ago. Check it out below and leave a comment to let me know what you think!

Oh, and by the way, there's lots of grants scholarships and fellowships to go to school...I'm thinking of starting a website for that...I need to sort out one other big project first...ANYHOO...I can at least point you in the direction of potential funding for college (your college's financial aid office should also be able to help you). There's my thoughts on that topic for ya! Ciao4now! ~ t

Welcome, Elijah! There are absolutely stellar tools here! I'm DELIGHTED to help in whatever way I can. Money greases the wheels and pays the bills, doesn't it? I'm on that journey, too. May I suggest a small book to read, too (I think it's only about 75 pages and it's easy to read...I used to read it EVERY DAY and may go back to it again...it's called "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles)...libraries should have it or a used bookstore...or maybe read some of it online http://soilandhealth.org/wp-content/uploads/0304spiritpsych/030412.Wattle.Getting.Rich.pdf it's helped give me hope when I felt hopeless.

I'm here for you in whatever way I can be to help (as are SOOOOooo many AMAZING and wonderful people here). Take advantage of the training and tools and you WILL succeed! (It starts with you're thinking! Cheers to your SUCCESS now and always, Elijah! ~ t

Hey Elijah and welcome to Wealthy Affiliate!

My name is Steve and I'm the owner of IveTriedThat. You signed up through me and I thought I'd tell you a little about myself. I joined Wealthy Affiliate back in 2009, over 5 years ago. I was looking to learn how to supplement my income through Internet Marketing and what I've found was so much more.

By 2010, I was working full-time from home. These days, ALL of my income comes from my ventures online. In fact, my wife just recently quit her job to start her own business as well. Internet Marketing and Wealthy Affiliate have provided us with amazing opportunities (we've bought a house, get to travel the world, and best of all, no longer spend time "going to work") and I'm incredibly thankful to the training, tools, and support here that made it all possible. :)

I'd love for you to see the same level of success. So, if you ever have any questions or need a hand with anything, do not hesitate to get in touch with me. I am here to help!

To get started, you should add a short description and upload a picture. Wealthy Affiliate is a community and having a profile and a picture will really help get you acquainted here.

Anyways, thought I would just introduce myself. If there's anything I can do for you Elijah, just let me know!

Cheers!

Steve
