Becoming an Authority

Last Update: July 03, 2021

Lately, I've been working on becoming an expert in my field and not overthinking the process as much. However, I have several articles that don't have any comments and thus debate whether or not I should buy comments or earn them or quite frankly both.

This is because I have taken on more responsibilities in my personal life. So successfully managing two to three posts a week is quite the accomplishment. Nonetheless, I find it quite discouraging when different posts are indexed at different speeds despite having the keyword appearing roughly the same amount of times. If makes me doubt if I am in the right path.

Also, I fight the proclivity to be too subjective - yes, this is a real thing!! While I love to stay true to myself, my goal is to keep my message within the framework of my particular niche (i.e. meditation and all things mindfulness).

Because of this, my desire is to inspire other people and prompt them to answer the call to action. I do, however, wonder how long it is going to take for my posts to rank on the first page of Google, not to mention how I can adequately manage, ahem, integrate my time with college life this fall.

Above all, I am very proud of my ability to continue to write high-quality content the engages people. I am grateful now that my site is gaining maturity and my content is spreading its wing. The power is the quality & quantity of content creation. Indeed, I am an authority in the making.
