This may be just a detail, but...

When researching for 2 very similar keywords, Jaaxy showed metrics I don't quite understand. And I'm hoping someone will enlighten me..

Thank for sharing this i will do my research to find out the metrics.

Thanks
Fraser

If my thinking is right SEO doesn't like articles in keywords. I learned this in YOAST but I don't understand.

They like keywords in a post but no more than 1.5 to 2% with a Yoast preference of 1%. That's 1 keyword per 100 words written do density is strong enough to tell Google, Yahoo, and Bing what the page is about but not strong enough to say here's a spammer just stuffing the page with keywords. Instead, they suggest using a mix of your preferred search term and related terms called LSI or Latent Symantec Indexing. This would be like saying Computer in one paragraph and laptop in the next with Desktop PC mixed in as well.

Yes, I understand. In my post usually I include the articles and stop words and YOAST suggests it to remove if possible.

Yeah SEO specialist made up the term stop words because older search versions would only read the keyword before the stop so if you sai here to eternity your site might rank for here or might rank for eternity but would not rank for Here to Eternity. Search has grown past that logic as written by Matt Cutts of Google and is smarter now and knows some stop words are required. SEO is not an exact science it is speculation from common practices tested over time and some notions are way outdated.

SEO score depends on the quality of the sites ranking for that keyword even if they don't directly target that keyword. The first keyword may be easier to rank for while the second keyword may have 1-2 major authority sites already taking up the spots you would be looking to reach. Both scores show that reaching page 1 should take little effort.

Hey, Andy.

I checked back the SERP and yes, it seems that this really could be the case.

Yeah! I just learned one more thing about Jaaxy and keyword choices thanks to you. :-)

Awesome! Thanks again.

I wish you all the best,
Eliane

I am glad you asked the question so we can see the answer! I have wondered the same thing.

I'm glad my question helped you too, Jessica.

It feels good to learn a new thing every day, doesn't it?

I can't seem to find the menu option "My History".

You remember it, right? Before the recent UX update, it used to be in the left-hand sidebar.

Is it gone for go

Featured Comment

Yes the old history platform is gone, but it has been replaced with something better.

If you go to the Training menu, under Training Activity it will show all of your recent activity within the training.

I hope this clarifies for you Elaine!

Hi, Kyle!

Thanks for your quick reply.

Yes, I saw the "Training Activity" option but that's not exactly what I needed.

I was looking for a blog I had recently read, and - of course - it won't show on the Training Activity.

Is there a way to find it?

You don't remember who wrote it do you?

No, Eric, unfortunately not.

It wasn't something really important though. Not a problem.

Although it would be nice to have this option available in case we needed in the future, you know?

It was a good feature.

I never used it, I just bookmark a lot of things. :-)

Yeah, I too bookmark tons of things.

But sometimes, like this one, I only realize I’ll need that information later on...

Hey, thanks for your time and trying to help me.

Cheers!

What was the blog about, maybe I read it and remember who wrote it

Loes, you're so sweet!

It was from a newcomer.

He said he had tried other internet marketing platforms before joining WA. And that he was impressed by all the positive blogs he's been reading and by the support he's getting from the community here.

I thought it was a nice quick testimonial and wanted to mention it to someone.

Oww that's going to be hard to find:( Have you followed him? You could check your latest follows

Yeah, that's a great idea but no, I didn't follow him.

But no worries, it's really not that important.

Thank you so much, Loes, for your time. I really appreciate it.

I had the same issue ...

Thanks for this suggestion, Loes.

I now use my browser history. I used to auto delete it each time l closed my browser. I keep it for longer now.

Yes, Jude, that's a good solution for very recent activities such as blogs I visited a day or two ago.

But performing the same research for not so recent activities (let's say a week ago), would take "forever" considering all other websites I visit with my browser.

Thanks for your comment anyway! :-)

All the best.

The WA History only had the most recent activity available, I think only a day, or a limited number of items in the list.

Perhaps use the WA bookmark feature for any content that you might want to get back to later.

Or the Pocket App is useful for bookmarking. https://getpocket.com/

oh, I liked the My History tab too - hopefully it makes a reappearance!
