Where’s My Comb?
The other day, I put on a pair of slacks I hadn’t worn in a while. When I started putting the necessary things in my pockets, I discovered a comb that I had left in the back pocket when I took them off. I do that quite often. I don’t know exactly why, but for some reason, when I take my slacks off and hang them in the closet, I overlook this very valuable grooming instrument.
Most of us guys like to carry a comb in a back pocket just in case our hair gets a little out of place when we are out in public. When it gets misplaced, we get frustrated because it’s not where it’s supposed to be when we need it.
I just keep asking myself, “What in the world did I do with my comb.” I often do without it for even weeks at a time until I discover it in those slacks that I haven’t worn in a while – right where I left it!
I am finding that I have a similar experience in my training at Wealth Affiliate. The training provides me with the information and tools that I need. It is designed to make available to me everything I need, when I need it. Sometimes I forget to take advantage of the built-in search tools that are provided.
So, I ask myself, “Where’s this or that information of which I am so desperately in need? I know I saw it somewhere, but where is it.” I have discovered that I can go to the Training section of the menu, and right at the top there is a search tool that will take me right to the answer(s) I need.
To be honest, it kind of makes me feel dumb that it takes me so long to realize this. Asking questions of Kyle or Carson, or the community is fine, but it feels good when I can use the system to get my answers.
Knowing that at my advanced age I still can’t find my comb makes me feel a little hopeless. But it doesn’t have to be so with WA. It’s where it’s always been. We just need to diligently use the tools we have been provided to find it.

It's usually my cellphone that I put in a pocket and then can't find. Very often it's in my bathrobe pocket. Those pockets can be mysterious, illusive things. Yes, I know what you mean about finding your own answers as often as possible. Working on it.

Don't worry about the comb, buy a bunch of them and that way you won't have to worry where you left them! LOL ...

I have a vague memory of owning a comb, way back in the distant past...

The irony about this is that I am getting bald at a rapid pace. If that continues I won't even need a comb. HA. I mean, oh me!
