The New Hump Day
In the TV commercial, a camel comes walking through an office asking, "What day is this?" The answer he is looking for is Wednesday, or Hump Day! Yesterday (Thursday) was my New Hump Day!
I FINALLY LINKED MY FIRST AMAZON PRODUCT TO MY WEBSITE!
Trying and failing (over and over and over) for weeks to accomplish this, yesterday I got over the hump. This must make some of you chuckle - I chuckle a little every time I see that camel clumping through the office asking "what day is this?" But humor me! Matter of fact, I feel about like he looks sometimes.
Some of you must have gotten hung up along the way, too. Maybe not something that seems as simple as linking a product, but hung up, nonetheless.
I seriously considered throwing in the towel many times. But, guess what. I persevered - not by myself, but with a worldwide community of my fellow WA members.
I know that sounds trite, but I confess the awesome comradery that I feel with you guys and gals is amazing - never alone; not here!
My sincere thanks to Kyle, the training and the community that is Wealthy Affiliate. I still have a long way to go, but yesterday (Thursday) was a real New Hump Day. I know there are more ahead, but this was a biggie.
Just remember with me, that we are not alone. We need to feed off one another, and accomplish what we have set out to do. So, 'What Day Is It?' It's the Hump Day that we've been struggling to get over, and it could be today!

Like you, I've considered quitting but when I gave it serious thought I realized that it was a momentary thought and the reality is I am committed to making this work.
I love that commercial and it brings a smile to my face every time I see it although it's not on very often these days.
Thanks for your response, Elaine. There is something about making friends online all around the planet that feels good, and I want to hang in if for no other reason.
I agree ... having such an active community is wonderful. You never have to feel like you're on your own with no one to help when you need it.
