Methods Of Coping With Stress
I was constantly asked by friend I think you have too much stress in your life. My answer was always "No, not me, I'm fine!"
Then another friend asked almost the same thing in which I responded the same way. When a number of people have said this to me I began to wonder "Well then do I have stress in my life?"
Let's turn to Google to "Google it" and find out.
"7 signs of stress in life"
1) Headaches- Well yes but I just thought that was from my allergies.
2) Feeling Tired- Well yes but I have been dealing with a 4-year-old.
3) Back Pain- Well yes but I always have back pain.
4) Nausea- Well yes but I always have that too.
5) Frequent Colds- Well yes but I thought again it was allergies.
6) Excessive Sweating-I don't think so.
7) Loss Of Sexual Desire- have no idea.
So according to this I have at least 5 of the 7 signs of stress. I guess that might mean I have stress in my life.
Well I guess that makes sense because we got our notice from our apartment where we are living that we need to renew our lease. When it is time to usually renew the rent will increase a little but not this year. They decided to increase A LOT!!! So much that we can't afford to live here anymore. So now we need to find somewhere else to move!!! But where???
The 100,000 question. GOD has the answer because we sure don't know. We have to give this apartment 60 days notice but all other apartments don't know for 30 more days. So for 30 day we are going to be in limbo land.

My rent is $450 a month in the Northeast. To move would be anxiety raising to say the least. I have tried "to surrender", in a Taoist float. Suspend thought just let all thoughts suspend for
awhile without judgement. Meditation. Live in the present.
I feel that WA is my road out.
I went three weeks broke.....thanks for Meals on Wheels and good dreams of great meals of yore. I did it. In the mean time, I lose weight which was improved my overall health.
I would rather think about WA plans than the daily muddle. It will take time, but eventually my income will go up and this
poverty will end!

Yes your right WA is a great way out!!
If it were only me I wouldn't be so stressed but it's also my adult kids and granddaughter.
Currently our rent is $1400 all together but it is going up $1600.

When I can't find a solution, I try not to think of it!
Flight is my defense for a lot!
Maybe what you make from this will cover the
increase?

The best book I ever read in this area is “The Power of Now”, by Eckhart Tolle.
It has beautiful lessons on life and talks quite a bit about where anxiety and stress come from.
Based on my circumstances, my life should be stressful. But it is not.
