I just got my 1st sale
I got my 1st sale, and I don't even have my site(s) done.
I've taken a lot of the lessons here and done a kind of remix with them. One of these examples is to practice my writing and my engagement with people through fb groups, both that are directly connected to my niche and that are indirectly connected.
When I post anything in these groups, I've made it a point NOT to be spamming or even putting any links or discussion about selling anything. All I am doing is sharing relatable content and making sure my wording is engaging for comments. The more engagement I can create, the more the groups embrace me. I also make sure to respond to every engagement I receive.
The only time I will share any contact info in regards to selling....is if someone makes a request for it.
I've now been doing this for 3 weeks. And in that time, I've created over 2,000 engagements with my posts...averaging around 150-300 engagements for each post.
Where I got my 1st sale was in a brand new group, sharing a post with my product that was completely on topic with that group. And I did not do it like I was selling. Within 15 minutes of posting, someone ask me for info to contact me. And once they did, I could now share that on it. And that was it!
Now that it has happened, I know that I can continue to do so. And I'm very excited to see what happens down the road, once I actually have everything else built up.
I would like to point out, you don't have to have everything to make a sale. You need a phone # and that's really it. Sales are sales. And they are made a million different ways.
