Before getting deeper in here I would like to ask exactly that question. The reason I am doing this is because I have been involved with other companies in the past. Every time

I think it is totally worth it. I just had to cut one thing out of my budget to pay for here and am making use of the free site til I can buy my own.
But what I REALLY think make it worth the cost (for me anyways) is the help. You find no other support system or community like this anywhere.
Even the lessons are really easy with me being a hands on, visual learner. Yes I have gotten stuck a couples time so I just jumped in chat and get the answers I needed. I even have a couple people more than willing to proofread my site to help me with my wording and grammar skills (or lack there of)
So yes it is worth every penny
I too am on a tight budget, and have signed up for the Premium membership as I see it as good value (even though I can't afford just yet to pay yearly and make it even more affordable) this will provide you with everything you want. If you use the techniques taught here you shouldn't need to pay for traffic, although I guess you could spend a few $$ here and there just to give things a boost now and then. It isn't like those other companies which basically blackmail you into paying out to get to the next level or loose everything. In fact if you were reasonably computer savvy you could get away with a free membership for a while as well. If you can get 2 Premium referrals during your free period then you have the income to pay for an ongoing premium membership.....
You want certainties and we can only give you so many. There are no upsells here. Rich has told you below everything that you would need to invest in. What you will have to do is invest your time, follow the training, take lots of action - rinse and repeat. You will also have to pick yourself up and stay motivated even when some things don't work (and not everything will). So if you can't do those things - then don't waste your money. There are no instant successes but stick with it and there will be.
I agree that at first glance it appears to be too good to be true. I think many of us were wary of a con prior to signing up. But the reality is that everything is included in your monthly fee. I successfully use the keyword tool here with great success and haven't yet felt the need for the excellent suite of programs provided by Jaaxy for keyword research, although I will at some point. That's the only additional cost you may consider making, but I stress *consider*. I've been here for three months (today as it happens) and it's transformed my business with no additional payments.
However, I've come up with a plan for those who are convinced they're not paying me enough: set up a PayPal regular payment for $30 a month to me personally. We'll both feel better about the whole thing then.
WA is unique! Why? Hmmm because the price is cheaper considering it's less than a $1 /day if you are going to Premium and If you are monthly around $1.60/day is less than a coffee cup in Starbucks!
In WA you have the training, discussions, hosting aervice, keyword tool and more!

I think the premium membership is worth every dime! Like you, I am on "low budget" too, but I think it is worth the pain. Still, only you know what money is left in your wallet.
I do think that if you are not able to dedicate yourself for a minimum of 4-5 hours a day to work on your page, the best think to do is to stick at the free membership and prepare your website as much as possible following the free training. Whenever you are ready for the next step, we will be here at WA to guide you towards your goals! Good luck! Marian

There are no "upsells" within WA itself. It's $19 for the first month, if you sign up within the 7 day promotion and then $47 per month thereafter. If you go annual, it's $359 which equates to c. $29 per month. That's it! :)
If you want your own domain names rather than free siterubix subdomains, then you'll need to go to a registrar such as Namecheap and pay c. $10 per annum for them.
If you want more advanced keyword research tools than the Keyword Tool here, then many Members use Jaaxy which is owned by WA but is a separate company, and that costs $19 per month.
In regard to autoresponders, then there are free services if you don't fall foul of their exclusion list, such as MadMimi http://www.madmimi.com However, do check their excluded categories at https://madmimi.com/legal/terms as if you breach their terms they're likely to delete your lists without warning and threaten you with a $250 fine! There's training on setting up and using MadMimi here:

I totally understand the concerns! We have a new baby and only I'm working, so money is a tiny bit tight. Fortunately I am able to offset the cost of WA by using swagbucks, which I always recommend to everyone. Even though I've only been here about a week, I feel like it's guaranteed that if you stick with this long term, you will more than exceed your goals. Good luck!
