Never Underestimate Yourself. 2 Proofs That You Too Can Do It

Interestingly, most human beings in the world tend to underestimate themselves. They think that they are too small, too weak, not smart enough, not skilled, not educated,... don't have capability to do great things, etc., etc., etc.

So they give up easily and settle for grey, average (or below the average) life where there is little but a daily routine.

Big dreams? Yes, but these are not for me. I am just a tiny and insignificant bug in this world. I cannot do anything. I cannot achieve anything...

... And therefore, I am not going to even try...

Sound familiar?

If you think like that I would like to give hope. I give you just 2 examples that it's absolutely possible, however tiny you might be.

Example #1:

I come from a tiny country - Estonia. Most people in the world don't even know that there exists a country like that.

When I lived in Indonesia and told that I come from Estonia, they thought that I come from Australia or from Espana.

Our population is only 1.3 million. Compare this to Jakarta - the capital of Indonesia, which is 10 million (Greater Jakarta metropolis 20 million).

See - my country is tiny indeed.

But... Did you know that Estonia (the same small bug country) gave the world... Skype?

Yes, Skype was born in Estonia. And until this very day its development is done in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.

So be very encouraged - It does not matter where you come from or how insignificant you may seem to the world - you too can do great things and achieve super-duper success... If only you are brave enough to dream and then have determination to go after that dream.

Example #2:

You most certainly have heard the name Walmart, haven't you?

Of course you have. Walmart is the world's biggest retail store business and #1 business in the World ranked by revenue ($485 million in 2015).

Also, in 2015 Walmart operated 6300 stores internationally.

The numbers are just staggering.

Now there is another company. A small company (in fact, microscopic, compared to Walmart). Its name is Cleveron and it locates in my hometown Viljandi, Estonia.

The population of Viljandi is only 18,000 and Estonia (as I told already) is so lilliputian that it's pretty much unknown to the world.

Now, getting back to Walmart and its 6300 stores, their headquarters is in Bentonville, Arkansas.

And right there, in Bentonville, locates Walmart's #1 on retail store. And right there, in that #1 Walmart store is a pack robot, created and made by Cleverton (Viljandi, Estonia).

The pack robot serves those Walmart customers who shop online. They come and get their stuff from that robot. Quick and Easy.

Bottom line

It does not really matter where you come from or what's your background. Big country or small country - it's not important. Native English speaker or not - it's not important. You were a rich kid or a poor kid or an orphan - again, it's not important.

What counts is, whether you have a dream or not; and then... whether you are willing to invest your time and energy to achieve it or not.

As the Bible says: "Everything is possible for him who believes."

God bless you and help on your journey. Let these two examples encourage you - you too can do it.
