By Accident I Discovered I Am Signing Up New Members!
After I read Heidi Anders blog about her WA stats spiking in October because of her Facebook efforts I decided to check my stats. To my surprise and delight I discovered I had signed up my first member on October 10th and didn't even know it until now! The above graph is a reflection of this result. For those who are familiar with this process please forgive me for talkimng about it now. You will find this so basic.
How To Understand And Use Stats
My sponsor told me not to worry too much about that right now as I will learn about all of this down the road. However, I want to be prepared to welcome and coach any new members I sign up so I am going to find out as much as I can on how to understand and use starts to expand enrollment;.
I want to tell you more about this but I am only going to give an overview as I do not want to change your focus on what you are working on as part of your Wealthy Affiliate training.
My main purpose of writing this blog is to share my excitement about signing up my first member.
Tracking Tools Within WA
This table shows how my Wealthy Affiliate articles and landing pages are faring. According to my sponsor, the third data column from the left, Clicks Content, represents members at WA who are clicking my articles, The column on the left of that represents visitors to my landing page from the articles on my Affiliate website. I received 26 visits to my landing page. One signed up. Statistically I need to work on achieving 25% to 30% conversions.
My sponsor informed me that it is early days for me, and that the way to boost sign ups is to add more content to my website. So that is what I am going to do.
Social Media
Heidi also mentioned in her article that after joining relevant groups on Facebook and participating in the discussions she had noticed an increase in traffic to her landing pages together with more sign ups.I have been dragging my feet in working the social media angle. Perhaps it is time I started doing that.
There is a question I want to ask to others who are using social media to increase traffic.
When participating in the discussion of the Facebook groups did you use affiliate links on Wealthy Affiliate as well as links to your landing pages when appropriate? Or have you done that and had problems with Facebook?
I truly would appreciate any comments based on your experience in this area.
The Amazing Opportunity We Have Here
Sometimes I overlook the amazing opportunity we have right here at Wealthy Affiliate to build a thriving online business. Every now and then I discover something new that blows my mind. This has given me an idea to write about the many facets of WA in a new blog post on my Affiliate Marketing website. I have written a lot about Wealthy Affiliate but haven't focused on showing what matters in building an online business.
I am hopeful that when I reach 100 posts my state will make a significant leap in results!
My advice is not to rush things ahead of the lessons. Follow your training and all will be revealed in good time.

I have a facebook page -- actually, a separate business page for both my websites. I post all my new items on there, and have never been stopped by FB.
Hi Fran,
Do you use your affiliate links to make the post or the regular URL that your posts at WA appear on?
Thanks.
Edwin

Hi Edwin,
Have you set up your WA message campaigns? WA notify you when a referral signs up.
Regards Shane.
Ho Shane, I noticed where I can do that and plan to set that up. This is the kind of training I have been looking for.
I shall be using the campaign my sponsor used on me. It was very good.
Thanks for bringing this up.
Edwin
That's what my sponsor told me. The best action I can take is to keep writing articles for ,my website.
Thanks for your insight.
Edwin
That is an interesting story. I was checking out information about an investment company at Stock Gumshoe. While there, my sponsor saw one of my posts and responded to that.
He confirmed my suspicion that the investment company I was checking up on had exorbitant fees. He then asked me if I would be interested in learning about what he was doing to be making a living wage each month working only a couple of hours a day. And it would cost me nothing to check it out.
Then he said the magic words. No credit card required. So I did.
This was at the end of December 2018. And he has been my mentor ever since. I signed up for Premium at the end of the first week to take advantage of the $19 first month fee. After paying $49 for the next two months I transferred to the annual subscription. When the $299 Black Friday offer rolls around I will jump to that plan.
Cool, right?
Cheers.
