One Easy Way To Add Backlinks

Last Update: July 06, 2021

I've heard about the importance of having backlinks to improve SEO. Until recently I thought the only way to accomplish that was for the owner of another website giving you permission to leave your website URL as part of the comments' you leave. Every website I had visited to leave comments' I felt uneasy to leave my website URL in case it was considered spam,

Then I came across a website where the comments' area allowed you to leave not only your nae and Email address, but also the URL of your website. Since then, I discovered that the owner of any website has the option of allowing visitors to leave the URL of their website if they so wish.

I continued to keep checking a plethora of websites and I started to find some that allowed you to leave your website in a special window for that purpose. WIOW I thought that was amazing.

Since I made this discovery I have been searching for websites that Google presents to me from my search to see if they have this option. Most websites do not allow this. Hence, it takes some work to find them.

What has been your experience in creating backlinks to your website? Please share them in the comments section beloiw.

You must be careful when anyone leaves you an url, Edwin, as it may be a spam site.

On my hardware site I let someone leave a comment and the url to their so called website and it turned out to be a spam site.

I received at one point 100 spam emails a day mostly from Russia and I could not figure out why I was getting blasted with spam, did a bit of homework and discovered this site: https://www.scamvoid.net/

you type in the url of the site in question and it gives you a report of whether it is a good or potentially bad website.
If the report is good it will look something like this

Final Verdict
Potentially Safe
The site seems safe according to this report:

Website Gccgamers.com
WOT Trustworthiness Unknown (Not Yet Rated)
Domain Blacklist Status Not Blacklisted (0/9)
Website Popularity Good Traffic Volume (#448,786)
Domain Creation Date 3 Years Ago (2018-05-03)
HTTPS Connection Valid HTTPS Found
Domain WHOIS Data Find Who Owns the Domain
Suggested Checks How to Avoid Online Scams
User Feedbacks Read Comments

So, give it a test, type in any url and check out the report.
Do this before you start setting up any backlinks or there will be spam coming out of your ears.

Take care.
Have a good one.
Jimmy.

Hi Jimmy,

Thanks much for your concern and suggestions.

I think you may have misunderstood what I said I was doing. Visitors to my posts can only leave comments. I have never and do not intend to set up my comments area to accept URLs.

When I visit other blogger sites who I determine are legit, I examine their comments area to see if they permit visitors to leave URL's. Only then will I leave a constructive comment and also the IRL to my website.

Was I correct? I really want to clarify that your comment only applied to allowing visitors to my site to leave their URL's.

Cheers.

My mistake, Edwin, you are correct.

Accept only comments on your site and not urls.

When you go to another website you leave your email and your url after you determine if they are legit.

My case was different as I let someone leave a spam url, in my contact form, which caused a barrage of spam.

In the end, you can check the legitimacy of any website url through the spam checker.

Thanks.
Have a great day.
Jimmy.

Good going. I have noticed this as well in some comments sections. Have you been able to track an increase in traffic Edwin?

I only started doing this yesterday. It's too early to tell. I have a plan to enter at least 10 backlinks a day and will check my stats in two weeks time to see if there is a difference.

Great idea. I have read about this but never researched much. Perhaps sharing each other’s posts and allowing your use of your url after the post and acknowledge them this way also.

Hi Richard,

Scroll down to the bottom of the post you are reading on the blogger's website to the comments section. That is where you will see a place to enter your website URL if they allow it. It will be a window that said Website URL.

I hope this helps.

Cheers.
