Network Marketing Strategy - A personal perspective.

LA is a very diverse city not only in demographics but also in its geography. Hollywood and the beaches are what comes to mind. Did you know that overlooking LA is the towering San Gabriel mountain range with the magnificent 10,000 ft. Mt. Baldy looking down? In winter, like now, this range is capped with snow that provides a stunning backdrop to the skyscrapers reaching up in downtown LA. I’ve called LA home for over 30 years and love my life here.
You’re probably wondering why am I sharing this with you. Do you love where you live? I know that although I live in a huge metropolis I would be at home living in a village. As long as I have good internet connection.
In order to build a successful online business you do not need to live in a big city. When I first got involved in Network Marketing, I was told to go out and invite anyone I bumped into to check out my business. The tools if the trade were DVD’s, brochures, booklets and other related materials. I spent a fortune doing that but my results were very modest. It cost me more to run my business than the income I earned. It was great at Tax season when I could write off these losses to reduce my tax base from my day job. At that time the internet was in its infancy. Fortunes were made and lost in an instant. I didn’t know enough to jump in.
Uncertainties
Guess what. I still don’t know enough to jump in by myself. I knew I needed help. So I took courses and joined programs and tried to put them into practice. After spending even more money none of this worked for me. What I needed was a simple winning formula to follow.
Then by accident I discovered WA. I was checking out a review of an investment program. A member of WA read my comments. Fortunately he reached out to me to give me his take on that investment program. Then he asked if I wanted to know about other ways to make money like using the internet as a vehicle. When he informed me it would cost me nothing to check it out for as long as I liked and that no credit card information was needed I jumped at the opportunity.
Revelations
Off course it was Wealthy Affiliates Tim was talking about. After I signed up and started checking out the training he offered me a special deal if I decided to become a premium member within the first week. I didn’t give my credit card information right away. I decided to give a thorough evaluation of the WA website and program.
I got welcome and encouraging messages from Kyle. I asked a lot of questions and they were all answered promptly. Before my week was up I paid up and became a Premium member.
The Plan
My goal is to build my Network Marketing business online using the training I’m getting here. I realize that any business needs the personal touch to thrive. Hence my strategy is to use WA to build traffic and get customers just as is applied for affiliate marketing. Once I connect with prospects in this way I will do two things:
1) Plug prospects into the CRM system of my Network Marketing company
2) Follow up with personal messages and phone calls
My objective is to first win customers. Then to convert some of these customers to join my business network.
Naturally, I will promote WA as my recommended vehicle for them to use to build THEIR business.
One of the biggest problems in any business is attracting leads. I firmly believe that WA is teaching me to do just that. And I’m only half way through Level 2.
I want anyone who joins my Network to have equal chance of building a thriving business no matter if they live in LA or Timbuktu!
Working from home has huge advantages. I am fortunate to be retired. So I have no excuses.
