I Gave This15-Point Success Plan To Another Member Who Reached Out To Me.

A WA member reached out to me for some advice. He had a website with 400 posts on it and it was not doing well at all. When he discussed this with Kyle, the response he got was to start fresh with a new website incorporating everything he had learned.

I requested he sends me the link to his new website to check it out. While I am waiting, I came up with this 15 point success plan, not only for him, but also for me.

Then I got thinking.

This is based on the common sense we are taught at WA. I feel I summarized it in a way that other members who are struggling could also find helpful. So here goes. Let me know what you think.

15-Point Success Plan

The magic comes when you do the following things well in the order I suggest.

Get Started Right

1) Choose a very narrow targeted niche

2) Do your homework to find out what your potential visitors need the most in this niche to solve a pressing problem or meet a deep-seated need.

3) Before you write your first post, spend a lot of time on keyword research to plan at least 30 articles that meet #2 above. I recommend using the lessons taught by Partha on this topic as he makes it real. Not that what WA teaches doesn't work. He is very good at approaching this from the perspective of those who are searching.

4) Conduct research for your posts and gather any charts, data, and images you may need and put these into a folder for each post.

Start Writing

5) Now write your articles. Use the SEO lessons taught at WA in this area, such as using one internal link, one external link to an authority site, and adding one video. It doesn't have to be yours. When you add a video by someone else, embed it rather than use a link. In this way, the visitor will stay on your article.

Post Writing

6) After you publish your post, go immediately to Google Search Console and perform a URL Inspection to get it indexed ASAP. If you have any Google-related issues, Google will let you know promptly as well as the fixes you need. If the fix is website-related Site Support may be able to assist.

7) After a month use Google Analytics to measure how your new post is doing. Also, check its rank.

Writing & Post Marketing Schedule

8) Maintain a publishing schedule of 2 to 3 posts a week. Publish them on the same day every week. This will come in handy when you begin to have a following who are looking for your posts.

9) Market your posts immediately after you publish them on one to two social media sites. I recommend Pinterest and LinkedIn. But you can choose whatever site grabs you.

10) If you wish to attract referrals to WA, write blog posts on WA and use the affiliate link to your posts for publicizing on Facebook and other social media platforms.

11) Build an Email marketing list and use Aweber or any other email marketing site to communicate with your subscribers regularly once you build a clientele. This is an effective way to market your posts too. This takes time and the earlier you start this process the better.

Keep Learning

12) Premium members take the Friday Webinars by Jay Neill to keep learning new skills. Premium Plus members, find the super affiliates whose teaching styles you like the most and follow their classes regularly. The beauty of these classes is we not only learn what to do but also what not to do. Every class is available in the archives so you can learn the skills to do everything I mentioned above in advanced courses that compliments the basic courses in the WA OEC and Bootcamp classes.

13) If you have questions on any issue related to your website or business, ask in the Questions area of your Dashboard. You can also go on live chat to do that. Don't feel bad to ask for help. WA members are willing to help other members using the pay it forward approaches encouraged on this platform.

14) Know that there is no silver bullet to developing a successful website. It is the combination of many factors you need to address.

Don't Expect Miracles - Create Miracles Yourself! 

15) Don't keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. That is one definition for insanity! You have the power to create your own miracles. This is called working hard and working smart.

Feel free to add more actions that have helped you succeed. Notice I didn't talk about YouTube video, but that is another powerful way to go. I suggest starting with website blogging and then create videos based on these blogs. Roope has great classes on how to do this for Premium Plus members
