Graduated from the Online Entrepreneur Certification (OEC) Program!

Voila! It is done. I am so happy that I successfully completed the OEC in four months. I met my goal!

As part of the process I have published 31 articles that contain 28,375 words. Since I was accepted for the Super Affiliate Program, I knew that my focus was going to be on Bootcamp. Indeed, I started and completed Phase 1 of Bootcamp and am well into Phase 2. I paused in order to complete the OEC.

My thanks go out to Kyle, my mentor Tim and all the friends I've made at Wealthy Affiliate who have helped me through by answering my questions and giving me helpful comments along the way. I wish you all the success in the world.

A New Beginning

It feels like one chapter of my online life is ending and a new one is beginning. The fact is, I will still be connected to the past because I must make my niche website a success. There is much more to do there. It will be up to me to balance my efforts in SAC while continuing to work on my niche website. I have a unique niche, one that I am nuts about. I know what I offer can be of great benefit to others.

Wealthy Affiliate

While building my niche, I was also promoting Wealthy Affiliate. The reason being my niche not only involves marketing legal services, but also helping others join my network. If what I offer appeals to them, and in the process build their own legal services business.

Being a member of Wealthy Affiliate is a prime component of that online process. Hence, promoting WA was so organic. I feel as if I have a head start in the Super Affiliate Program.

I have started a new website to promote WA. With my previous one, I will now have TWO websites promoting Wealthy Affiliate.

Invitation To Qualify As A WA Ambassador

Kyle had asked me to aspire to become an Ambassador at Wealthy Affiliate. Just like he must have asked several others. Since I love helping people I jumped into that program with no safety net!

I am glad I did because I have cracked the top 100 and hopefully will journey into the Top 50 in due course. Out of the three metrics of Helper, Creator and Activity, my Helper rank is the highest. The others are not far behind. I slipped five slots in the past few days since I was working on completing the OEC and did less of doing other things.

Certified Commenter Status

One of my certificationn requirements was to get comments on my posts to help me improve. When I discovered I needed to make two comments in order to qualify to receive one, I went into high gear in seeking and giving comments. Through that activity I qualified as a Certified Commenter. That means that now and then I can get paid for giving a comment. It's very modest, but it is still great to see a little money coming in.

Reflections

Five months ago I had no idea that a community and a program like Wealthy Affiliate existed. I had joined another organization focused on leads generation that also offered training on similar skills as Wealthy Affiliate. In four months I have accomplished more in Wealthy Affiliate that wouldn have taken me four years over there. Their teaching style just didn't sit well with me. I decided to leave them a month ago and focus totally on WA. I even wrote a review of this company that you can find in my website. They are a good organization. But not for me.

I had heard about terms like SEO, Traffic, Adsense, and a few others. But I thought in order to learn about them I had to take courses that cost hundreds and even thousands of dollars. Hence, I gave up all hope of being able to use those techniques for my benefit.

How wrong I was. It is astonishing that I can learn about these amazing Internet things and many others at Wealthy Affiliate that is all included in the low subscrioption. My only regret is that I didn't find Wealthy Affiliate ten years ago!

Gratitude

I have a lot to be grateful for. When I read posts from people who feel negatively about WA, my mind boggles. Surely they must be talking about another organization. I don't give much attention to the negativity. I consider myself the eternal optimist. That can be a problem sometimes. Too much optimism can be dangerous. And I have experienced some hazards. On average, I have had far more great things happen in my life with that attitude. I'm a happy camper.

There are many health benefits of having a positive attitude. One of them being my blood pressure reading has never been bad. More than one person has told me what right do I have to be so happy. I kind of grinned internally. If they only knew!

Wealthy Affiliate is one of the reasons for being happy today. The secret is to always have something positive to work on. Or schedule moments to do things that make you feel accomplished and happy.

Sad moments cannot be avoided. I feel that I have to work hard to create those happy moments because I cannot expect them to be dropped into my lap.

Wealthy Affiliates has given me hope that I will one day achieve a lifelong goal of becoming a successful entrepreneur!

The definition to me is in creating a business that will pay me several streams of residual income that will keep streaming even after I am no more. It is all about leaving a legacy for my family and others I seek to help.
