Folow Up On My Crash Landing When I Recently Fell
Hello Friends,
Since I was asked by many friends here for a follow-up, here is a brief report regarding the fall I had after putting up the Christmas Lights:

I had my session with the Orthopedic Surgeon and the news was better than I expected. My elbow sustained a small fracture that does not require surgery. The doctor doesn't want to use a cast as that will make my arm stiff and tough to rectify.
All I have to do is to keep it in a sling for a while. Then exercise it gently. No pushing or lifting with it. In about three months is will have healed.
This means that my wife and I can celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary this Sunday as planned.
I am grateful for the concern many members expressed and everyone's kind wishes.
Cheers.
Edwin

Very happy to hear that the diagnosis was not as severe as it could have been Edwin and you have been able to avoid any surgical procedures there.
I hope you and your better half celebrate a magically wonderful day on Sunday my friend!
40 years! Wow!🎊🎉
Hi Nick,
Me too! I was relieved when I found out my injury was not as severe as it could have been. The doctor told me it will take about three months to fully heal.
Thanks for commenting and your good wishes.

Hi Monica,
It's amazing how life develops. I met my wife in Toronto. When I got offered a job in LA I asked her if she would mind moving with me. She had no hesitation at all in saying yes. So she left her job and we started a new life in LA where we have lived ever since.
Here she learned to drive, got a new job, and became quite a leader in the women's organization she joined. It's been quite a ride. I feel the best is yet to come.
Thanks for your wonderful wishes. Monica. All the best to you.
Edwin
Thank you!
