Do No Harm - The Creed Of The Doctors Can Apply To Us Too.
In the Pandemic Era that we are in today, the phrase doctors go by, "Do No Harm." is what applies to each and every one of us today. We do no harm when we follow the guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Do you know that this phrase, "Do No Harm" also applies to our affiliate marketing business?
How so you may well ask. I am going to turn around the direction of this phrase. Instead of doing no harm to others, how about doing no harm to ourselves?
Have you considered how many times we sabotage our own business by doing harm?
If you knew a sure way to earn the money you want in order to make a better life for yourself and family in say five years, would you do everything it takes to get there?
10 Ways That Cause Harm
What if the road will be hard and strewn with failures along the way, would you still do it?
Let me share with you 10 situations which can harm our business efforts.
- We do not have faith that we can succeed.
- Everything we did in the past never worked out.
- We are not willing to wait that long.
- We need a lot of money NOW to solve our financial problems.
- We do not have the time necessary to do the work.
- Too many distractions come up in our life.
- We have no money to invest in ourselves in our pursuit of wealth.
- Family members and friends are able to convince us we're wasting our time.
- Our lives are comfortable enough to remove the urgency that we need to have.
- It is easy to develop bad habits that work against us.
Here's the thing. If we let these situations get in the way, we do not truly believe that we have a surefire way to earn the money we want through Affiliate Marketing.
If we really believed that the Wealthy Affiliate training, tools and support, can help us achieve our financial goals, we would not let anything stand in our way.Right?
What do you think? Does that make sense?
Why Not Join The Ranks Of These Members?
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Look at the hugely successful members here. I hope they don't mind me listing them down. I consider each of them winners who inspire me.
In no particular order here are their names:
- Nathabiell
- Eddy Salomon
- VitaliyG
- Roope Kiuttu
- Tim McKinlay
- Kevinmj
- littlemama (Grace)
- dave07
- TonyHamilton
- YumaBloggers
Plus many more who I am not familiar with. If you asked any of them when they started out if they let any of those 10 situations get in their way, I am certain they would have answered Heck No!
They knew they were on to a good thing with Weathy Affiliate and they took full advantage of this platform and still do.
Common Success Traits
Here are some of the traits they probably all had in common.
- They thought their business plans thoroughly
- They knew what they wanted and had a very strong desire to achieve it
- They had faith in their abilities that they would make it no matter how long it took
- Every day they talked themselves into believing that their plans were going to work out
- They mined Weathy Affiliate for all the specialized knowledge they needed
- They used their imagination to craft their websites and business activities
- Their business planning was organized and not haphazard.
- They were decisive in their actions
- They persisted and never gave up
- They networked with other like-minded entrepreneurs in order to be accountable
- When the going got tough, they drew power from their inner self to overcome hurdles
- They honed their subconscious mind and sixth sense to help make the right choices
- They all overcame common fears of failure we all have.
I am not saying that everyone of these successful entrepreneurs have al these traits. But I am sure they have most of them.
Also, I am sure they had failures along the way. People who become the most successful have also experienced the most failures.
But they learned from their failures and never gave up
Can we honestly say to ourselves we have the faith in our abilities to succeed? And if we don't, what are we doing to overcome that doubt?
The Antithesis of Doing Harm
The key here is to do no harm. If we can meet this objective, then a whole world of possibilities opens up to us.When we do no harm to ourselves, we can do a whole lot of good. And that will surely help us join the ranks of other successful entrepreneurs named above.

Hi Louise, great to hear your supportive comments. You can always bookmark it by clicking the blank star on the top left that is very hard to see and enter a title to help you retrieve it.
In case you did not know how to do that, click the faint star in the right of the query box and all the materials you bookmarked will appear.
If you already knew how to do this please forgive me for stating the obvious.
Guess where those 13 traits came from. I'm not going to answer until you give me an incorrect response.
All the best to you.
Cheers.

Hi Edwin
I was aware of the star ... some things are better reminders on paper though ,,, for me that is 😊
Did they come from Gary Vee? Maybe Simon Sinek? These are shots in the dark really, lol.
I agree, sometimes a hard copy works best. I do that too !
Those points are from a 83 year old book. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. I did a 16 week book study on my blog here that ended in early July. They are timeless.
Thanks for your comments.
Edwin

That book is sitting on my desk waiting for me to finish the others I am busy with (yeah, I read multiple books at a time, daft really).
