Hi guys, I'm sure this question has been asked on numerous occasions but I can't seem to find examples so apologies if this is repeated.
I want to quit my job and concen
I have the same question in my mind, I think it all depends in knowing yourself, try to see your possible scenarios, good and bad, weight them in a detached manner, be realistic and you will know deep inside what is your choice, thats what Im currently doing.
Hi Edser. I also think you should not quit your job. I have been a member of WA for for almost 3 months and have not yet seen a dime. That being said I know it will come, however, there is a vast amount of information to be absorbed here and you must understand that this is definitely not an overnight process. It mostly depends on you.

Nobody here knows you, so nobody could possibly know how skilled you are, how motivated you are, or anything else for that matter.
Some people here at WA have made $10,000 in one month within their first year. Others have been here for over a year and are still struggling to make $5 a month.
It's truly impossible to say.
What is possible to say is, don't quit your job.

Hi, Ed! This is a very interesting question. It is, however, impossible to respond. It highly depends on the amount of content you can produce, how marketable it is, how you engage with your customers, and many other factors that are not quantifiable. WA gives you the tools and knowledge you need, but it can not guarantee how long it will take for you to succeed, no matter how much you love it.
Having said that, I believe other people can chime in with their own experiences. I am approaching the 2 month mark, and I have made about US$10 online (not counting what I have spent). It is how it is - an investment in generating passive and self propelling income. I did not choose a genre strictly due to its money making capabilities, but focused on a passion that I know will keep me motivated to write for years to come. So I am planting seeds that I will sow in a long time. If you need something more immediate, I would suggest you to give a lot of thought into your genre and pick something that you know will generate money fast.
