Ok then....

  1. Respect - A person you hold in esteem or regard.
  2. Respect - A regard for others feelings, wishes, rights and traditions of others

How much Respect are we showing each other in the Community lately? I am reading posts about how people are leaving horrible comments on people's sites. When we joined WA we read the rules. We all had to click that we did and understood.

that is just wrong! If you have an issue with someone post then say too them I think you may try this instead of what you have done. We are doing are best to reach dreams. I would have said from past experiences I found this works best for me, and I thought you could try this method out, and good luck II hope it works out for you.

Kathleen,

I wasn't talking about anything that happened to me. I was trying to make people stop and think about how they reply to anyone here on WA. There seems to be a lot of disrespect going on in responses etc.

I understand you were just trying to get a point across to every one. But some people have no respect for others but themselves. I am not sure you quote this saying " They think the world is out to get them and only them" like as no one has ever had the same kind of issues before, and I call these type of people toxic.

Respect is much harder to earn these days on the 'ol WA.

Rules are relaxed, corners cut, tons of rank spankin' and everyone's got an opinion.

At one time WA was strictly and totally all about biz. Guys like Nathaniell, Labman, Welshy, @Rich, DomW, Mark Tait, Shawn Martin and quite a few more, were prevalent on Live Chat and within the 25 velvet chairs along Mahogany Row.

There social and political opinions never escaped their lips, only nuggets of knowledge and wisdom that was continually priceless. Most of us were so busy building our niches and sites that we didn't need 'encouragement' from so many 'helpful' folks, we just needed nuts and bolts.

Our inboxes were seldom used for idle chit chat and 'personal' blogging. Almost every email was valuable information that one could put in their notes and use as we went through the courses.

And respect... it flowed down the steps from Mahogany Row, it just came natural.

I reckon with all the folks on WA now and all the blogging and information that's passed, perceptions of what and who deserves our respect are as wide as the Grand Canyon.

For me... I remember those former days vividly and respect is something that's hard to come by with all my daily experiences here at the University.

Great post by the way!!!

I remember those days and wish somehow it would go back to it. I thought at one time we were not supposed to be broadcasting our income earnings also, but it seems to be a popular topic all the time now. I know we are excited about our earnings, however, there are ways to share without screaming out $500 MADE TODAY!

I sooooo agree with ya'!!!

Constructive comments are what WA is about. There is no room for negativity.

'Nuff said!

That's the way I felt. Well I wanted to write more, but you know... like Mark said.....

I agree with Mark, If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all unless you are asked for constructive criticism.

What did Bambi's mother say? - "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
~mark

You have my respect.

We all want that here Eden
