Low on fuel? How Passion Drives Purpose
Last week I found myself feeling overwhelmed and mentally tired.
This is a usual sign for me to take a break and unplug from the daily hustle... but this time something was different in me.
Doubt came over me and that feeling of.. "am I living out my purpose?"
Have you ever felt like this?
I can usually take a day off to do some of things I like. But it was not working.
So I decided to plug back in to the hustle.
However instead of hustling on my business, my focus landed on people looking for some encouragement.
So I did just that... encouraged others.
I started to feel better. Like I was "refueling" myself.
By the end of that day, late in the evening, I got a call from a long time missing friend.
I got the chance to listen to his struggles and encouraged him to keep believing in his purpose.
After that call I felt energized and ready to take over the world!
Then I realized what was happening...
I had ran out of fuel. The fuel that drives most of us... Passion!
Passion is the fuel that drives your purpose.
Purpose is the vehicle you've chosen in your life to make an impact in your world.
Just like any vehicle out there... without fuel or electrical recharge, the vehicle will not move.
I believe that when you have a passion, do what you can to use it because it will recharged your driving force to live your purpose filled life.
So what's the fuel that drives me?
It's encouraging others.
What's your fuel?
You may have a need to Love on someone. Maybe speak a Good Word over someone. You may be the one who enjoys Serving others with delicious food.
Some of you have a gift of Teaching others. You may be like me, Encouraging others. Some of you just love to Give time and even money to good causes.
What I am saying is this...
Don't just take a day off and do nothing.
There are some times when you need to use your gift on others.
Trust me...
This world needs positive, enthusiastic and passionate driven people like you.
