Work on your Site Vs Building Your Network
It can be easy to get distracted here on WA. This is because WA is not only a site that trains people in affiliate marketing; it is also a social platform.
It encourages you to choose a subject that you are most passionate about and to then make connections with members within the community.
Naturally, you will find it particularly easy to make connections with the people who have similar interests, perspectives, passions, dreams and aspirations as you. You may even feel like you are on this journey together with some of these people.
Each person you meet is an individual and some will stand out to you more than others.
This is because all people are different. Some will educate, motivate, inspire and suprize you. While others may have very different effects. Some people get on and others clash.
Making connections can be a good thing as it will help you to build a network which will support your future business. You can have a laugh with oneanother, learn from oneanother and perhaps support oneanother if needed. You may even become friends and this is what making connections is all about.
If you are able to, enjoy it as it can make working easier. All people are different and work at different paces. Some people may like the social side, while others find it hard to make that work for them. Just be polite and courteous.
We all have to do what is right for ourselves and what works for us. Try and have a little fun with it but remember why we are here - to build a business and to work hard to achieve our financial freedom. Hopefully other people will see your good intentions and share your drive too.
Therefore, in order to succeed here at WA, we must all do what works for us, don't worry about social expectations and find a balance that works for you. If you find that the social side for you isn't working...
Don't worry about it; put your work needs first and others will learn to appreciate, respect and see the good things you are are trying to achieve. We all work at different paces and that is ok.

Hello Catherine! I agree balancing social networking and creating content can be delicate. Both need to be done. It's my thought that this will change over the course of growing your business: sometimes you'll need to be introverted and sometimes, you'll need to network more. I think both (networking and business building) are always necessary though.
Thanks for getting this out there.
Our priority needs to be our business....then socialize.
Most people here probably get that but it is good you spelled it out.
Now, back to work;)

Very true, for most people, like myself, it takes time, and there will be failures, but remember Failure is how we learn, I've created websites, failed, and created new ones, you have to just keep going, never give up, never settle.
I feel I must build my website as a priority in order to get the message out followed by building traffic. That seems to be the logical order of things.
Thanks Catherine! Building our website with content that benefits our targeted audience and building relationships with them means being balanced which requires being disciplined.
This is so true I agree with you 100% me i like to be social and all that but i just know i can be a huge procrastinator if something else catches my attention haha. so whenever I am here i am mostly working on my sites and sometimes if i see someone needs help. or just a little motivation I will stop by leave a comment and like and be on my way.
