Just lodded into my emails to find a message from Amazon Associates.
I met the sales critera and have been approved.
If you have had difficulty getting approved...
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP!!
I failed the first time around. I was not publishing enough content and they have a fairly short time frame.
This is my second run and it worked this time. If you want my advise, get a bunch of content up on your site before signing up to be an associate, reviewing their products and adding their links.

Yay I was so worried but with a little help from my fam here at WA I got the email I had been approved too! I was so worried that I would have to cancel all my links on my 59 or so articles I had. That is awesome I am happy for you!!! wishing you continued success!!

Just remember that Amazon has the shortest cookie and lowest commission rates in the industry plus a couple dozen ways that they will use to kick you out of the program. If you have enough content for Amazon, you have enough content for other networks and merchants, all of whom have longer cookies and higher commission rates. Something to consider.
