Driving Through A Snowstorm Is Like Starting Your Online Business
Just drove through a snowstorm through the Canadian Rockies yesterday!
I was thinking that "Driving Through A Snowstorm" is a metaphor for Online Business:
- Total excitement as you set out on a once-in-a-lifetime-journey
- Preparation for emergencies and food to nourish you and friends to keep you company
- Starting out in perfect weather then unexpected flakes begin to fall
- Before you know it a snow squall comes your way
- How do you handle it? You just keep going...mile after mile...town after town
- You stop regularly to take a breather, stretch and regroup
- Once you've caught your breath you restart your engine and buckle up and get back on the road
- You may follow in the tracks of those who are ahead or you may speed up nd lead the pack and make your own tracks
- The minutes turn into hours which turn into many hours and near exhaustion
- Finally you arrive at your destination and oh it feels so good
So, How Goes Your Online Business Journey So Far?
Are you:
- in preparation mode?
- just starting out?
- enroute but unprepared and unaccompanied?

Breaks are very useful...sometimes I just stop the entire process when I am too intense...go and walk outdoors...observe nature...clear my mind...then restart!
