Cranky People in Live Chat Confuse Me!
Why are they so cranky?
Don't they know everyone here at Wealthy Affiliate is just trying to help them?
Some people have more experience than others...

9 time out of 10 the questions that all of us have asked at one time
or another are listed in the Search here at WA!
The reason I quickly posted this was that I observed a person
really be abusive, in my humble opinion, to one of our very experienced WA
experts who was taking time out of his busy computer time to be helpful
to others!
I don't get it?
Since I joined in January 2016 I have noticed more and more of this
nonsense!
Oh well! I stay out of it but I could not remain silent today!

Nobody likes criticism, constructive or other, BUT we are all here for the same reasons, some have been here alot longer than others (Im still a newbie 3 months in) and they have much more wisdom than us new members. When people tell me I did something wrong (sure it sucks) but I respect all the members in our community, I also realize they are only trying to help. If I wanted everyone to tell stories purely about sunshines and rainbows and how 100% perfect my site is then I wouldn't be paying to be in a community where we all work together and tell each other the truth and yet also tell us how it can be better.
I have had the best experience here in the community . I try to always be positive and take advice from our top line of leaders here. I try to help when I can.
I imagine it might be difficult at times with various personalities but respectful behaviour should guide us all!

I agree. I find it disturbing when I see the negativity.
I often think that maybe those people would like to join the competitor's site and let the rest of us stay here in happy valley!

Unfortunately, I have noticed this as well at times and therefore do not go into Live Chat very often. I stick to what I get notifications for mostly!
Yes Michael...let me put my "Mad Scientist" Cap and Coat on and spend some time in my basement lab and see what I can come up with!
Maybe some "Eye-of-Newt" & "Nose-Hair-of-Bat" is in order!!!

Unfortunately, I don't visit live chat very often. But I would think that for newbies (and others) who are visiting chat to get answers, they would appreciate the time that others will spend trying to help them. I know things can be frustrating, especially at first and you may feel overwhelmed, actually I still do occasionally even after 3 years. But please remember that polite behavior is rewarded with more people wanting to help you and showing your frustration and taking it out on others doesn't bring more helpers your way. If you don't get an answer the first time you ask, reword your question and politely try again. Assuredly, the end result is worth some frustration now and then. - Shirley

In fact word your question correctly and use the search for help box before you use Live Chat. Then reword if nothing you can use comes up the first time.
