A New Premium Member just asked me for Tips on How to Improve his Wealthy Affiliate Ranking.
There is much controversy amongst WA Members as to whether WA Ranking is important. I do feel it is important in that others look to those ahead as more experienced and knowledgeable. This is not always the case as many uber-successful WA-ers spend most of their time on their own website endeavours rather than on the WA Platform and may have a lower ranking.
Information on Ranking can be accessed as follows:
-Click on "Rank" under your Profile Picture on the Top Left portion of your Dashboard
-Then Click on the "Learn More Here" blue button to be redirected to a post by Kyle
TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR WEALTHY AFFILIATE RANKINGOverall, to increase your WA Ranking, focus on the following metrics:
#1 HELPER
#2 CREATOR
#3 ACTIVITY
Most often once you begin to dive into the WA Platform your WA Rank organically improves leaps and bounds!
Try at the very least to log on daily, even if for only 5 minutes and increase your Network by welcoming new members!

It doesn't take much time to see your Rank improve significantly!
I think some new members just need reassurance when their Rank is over 220,000...they feel insecure about their status as a member.

I have seen this as well..the more I log on for training the better it gets. You can't help but be positive in this kind of atmosphere.
From my perspective I didn't set out to just improve my ranking. I still don't what I strive to do is help others. Via Posts, Comments, and Chat.
I'm quick to respond to people who comment and basically just try to help as much as I can.
I find I can do this and still go through training and take action.
My rank fell very quickly as I did these simple things.

I've mixed opinion about the ranking system; a) it can be very misleading if you use it as a guide for competence and b) I'm afraid it leads to questionable behaviours.
However, on the plus side anything that promotes networking is a good thing, I agree with that wholeheartedly.
It's a bit like Facebook, be careful to limit your time on it :)
