Appreciating a Good Affiliate Manager
The purpose of this post is to share my experience in dealing with a great affiliate manager.
As affiliate marketers, we often promote tons of different affiliate products and services. In many cases, we may never have to be in touch with anyone concerning the affiliate programs we are a part of.
However, there may be a time when you become a part of an affiliate program that has a dedicated affiliate manager.
A good affiliate manager can serve as a great partner in your promotion of an affiliate product. For example, one of the affiliate managers I am in contact with notifies me of any issues that may arise.
I've been notifed about broken links, technical issues, as well as given support in ways to increase conversions.
Recently, there was a technical issue with WordPress and their affiliate system. My affiliate manager alerted me to the issue right away so that I could update my affliate links.
Another benefit is that my affiliate manager will ask if I'd like free acces to new products that are released so that I can promote them by creating product reviews.
Utilize Your Affiliate Managers
I do not hesitiate to contact an affiliate manager with questions or concerns. By asking questions, it may lead to a new solution that can help with conversions. For example, one conversation led to creating special coupon codes that I can offer my visitors.
If you are a part of an affiliate program with a dedicated affiliate manager, be sure to utilize their services. A good affiliate manager will want to help you to increase conversions and make sales.

It's so worth it to contact affiliate managers. They want you to succeed and they can offer tips on how to sell better. The good ones will have assets created for you when they see you are serious about selling for them. I have been advocating this concept for years. Good post and I agree that people should establish relationships with affiliate managers overall.

This is good information. I think we tend to sign up, get our links when we need them, and let it go at that. It seems to me it's a good idea to get in touch with the affiliate manager of a new site and just create a connection. Then it is there when you need it.

If you are signed up with a program that has affiliate managers than by all means ask them questions and use the help they give you.
