Pull The Trigger!
Pull the trigger !
Hi ya guys here at WA.
We all have goals. Some write them down and review them hourly, daily, nightly, weekly, monthly or even quarterly. While others “ have them in their head”
I lack that skill set to be able to store goals in my head.I ( Elaine ) need to see things written down, dumbed down, and reviewed multiple times if ya know what I mean.
Can we talk about goals? Thanks let’s do!
Deep Patel “ Goal setting is essential to living a life with purpose and meaning. Goals give our lives direction and focus, and help us stay motivated over the long term “
I agree with all of that ! So here is my question to you.Do you have a system to your goal setting and implementing them?
Do you put off the things that you really don’t fancy to the very last or do you knock those out quickly to get it over with?
Scarlett and I are “ aiming “ toward our goals BUT we need to
Pull the trigger and hit the Bulls Eye!
Will ya please share some tips with us here at WA ?
What have you found to be helpful as well as habits to run far far away from that derail success of meeting goals ?
We thank you in advance !
May we all prosper and encourage one another !

Hi Elaine and Scarlett,
I have to admit I have been slothful in writing things down like goals and how to implement them. Sorry, I can't at this time, give you ideas for obtaining goals and implementing them.
I thank you for your "wake-up" article on this subject. I am usally a methodical person so I will start to plan and keep a "journal" on this subject.

Tomorrow is a new day pick and start over. Onward as they say.

Thanks I have neglected to look at my written goals for some time now. I found it helpful to shrink them and simplify them to 7 days or weekly goals. In my next post here I am going to set some for the next week ." Keep em simple!" I would suggest. I like the use of the word necessity. Another old saying used to be " Necessity is the mother of invention!"
I agree Keep em simple, works for me. I mentally have a list daily
I try to get accomplished sometimes I get it done. Sometimes not. But, we try.

Hi EandS,
For me goals are in my head. Implementation for me has always been persistent, patient, endurance. Because life has knocked me down so many times I have lost count! Guess what, I will not give up! For me that will

I agree this is Scarlett, I keep my goals in my head. Where Elaine writes hers down. Yet we work so well together. It’s partly why, we are different yet the same. It’s made us friends for life.

Hi Elaine and Scarlett, I like what FKelso says. Goals are important as long as I do not give myself a time limit to achieve that goal. Perseverance, and doing something every day is about it for me. I came to realize this is not a get rich quick site.
We have also come to that conclusion and are daily working through things we can. And the rest will wait another day.
Blessings!

Yes, goals are vital -- I agree. I write mine down, then try to break the goal into small steps. In the past I've created a small poster of my goals. Find pictures in magazines that represent your goal and paste them on. Look at them every day, as a sort of road map of where you are headed. Write affirmations about your goal that you can read daily. These help you to stay focused. Keep an account of the actions you have taken to move you forward. When you achieve success of any kind as you move forward, share with us, to help reinforce the idea that you are progressing. Stay positive and stay focused. Be happy if you can. Joy in life helps.
You are on the right track. Just keep up the good work!
Thank you so much , this is so helpful and exactly what I need . The visuals and affirmation are spot on.
Best wishes
Elaine and Scarlett
