Sounds tough to make it with amazon when you put it like that, doesn't it. Need some big ticket items. Chris

That's with the highest referal rate.. i figure if you're selling $850,00 you're moving products
In some countries you can get up to 10%, depending on what you are selling.
Amazon UK, for example.
But don't worry. I get what you're saying.

Damn I wish I could get that 10%.. I hit 7% this month because of Christmas and traffic increase. Once traffic hits around 1,000 a day I'm hoping to get 8% regularly

They seem to have fixed rates, which is great if you are in the right niche.
That's pretty interesting.. I just looked at analytics and it says I get about 4% traffic from there.. I'm in the sports niche. Besides soccer what sports are popular over in the UK?
I would say soccer (people from England call it football, though!) and cricket are the most popular sports in the UK.
But I am not from the UK, so I think someone from there could answer the question better.

That's OK! I was probably turning that amount over in sales for my employer every year, but getting paid a pittance, lol.
I'd rather earn $70K in "profit" than $20K a year in "wages." ;)
It can definitely be done.. I've read about people selling millions a year on Amazon. Good luck!
