How Your Content Looks And Tone Is Most Important

I once read in a very good book that communication is 70% visual, 20% tone and only 10% words.

If you look shy and sound non-confident in what you're saying people will literally ignore your words and what you say will be lost on people.

The same is true with your content. Your number one concern should be making your post visually pleasing and easy to ready. You don't need to go overboard but this is the most important part of creating content. Small paragraphs, pictures, large headings and bullet points will help you a lot here.

Next, you want to sound confident in your writing. Be decisive in your recommendations and come off friendly/inviting. Don't come off as condescending. Come off AUTHORITATIVE.

A good way to make sure your content has a good tone is to be concise and this comes from editing. Every blog post I write I edit it twice so there isn't a single word out of place.

Lastly, comes the words. Don't get too caught up here. Just write from the heart. You'll always have time to edit things later.

So remember: Most important is how your content looks, then tone, then words.
