How To Create A 5,000 Word Post
Hey, as many of you know long content (has to be quality!) ranks well in Google.
So how do you go about doing this?
The worst thing to do is to just wing it. Do your research ahead of time. When I create a "best of" list I do product research before hand.
I find between 10 to 20 products and add the affiliate links first. I usually do this for about 5 different best of lists (this will take up a whole day).
For the rest of the week I write 250 to 300 word descriptions for each product. If you have 15 products that'll get you between 3500 to 4500 words. Add 100 to 200 words for your introduction, a short buyer guide of between 600 to 800 words and 200 words for your conclusion and you'll get well over 5,000 words.
You're almost guaranteed to get page one by doing this and these types of posts convert like crazy.

Hey Dylan. I haven't posted a really long article on my site yet. I have posted articles with a couple affiliate links relating to one product. Is it a good idea to write a post on many different products like you said and incorporate affiliate links to all of them? Let's say 10 products w/ affiliate links and good content. I have heard tons of affiliate links are not good for your site as google doesn't like that. I just really want to get high on rankings with my site and I am not sure if I am implementing the right method.
Quality is the key. 10 affiliate links in an article that's 1000 words long won't rank. But 10 links in 3000 word post will work.

Hi Dylan, what is the step to promote the products on my website? If I apply for affiliate links do I get approved even though I haven't got things written in it?
