3 Orders This Month

And I haven't been working on my site and doing much with it since starting to try to crochet to launch yet another online business. Either way I'm glad someone out there is ordering.

Hopefully in the next few weeks I can get back on track and focus on everything instead of devoting all my attention on crocheting.

Well, isn't that great...even without focusing on it, your site is still earning you money! Great job, Dawn!

I know right. Amen to that.

I hope this will give you a reason to put in more work on your site.

I'll definitely get back to it.

That is awesome!!! I crochet too! Did you start a niche site to seek your crochet?

Yes it is. I haven't started a crochet site yet. I wanted to practice projects first.

Congratulations! Did you ever figure out if you got a commission from CannaPet?

Thanks. No I haven't yet.

Congrats, nicely done.

Randy

Thanks Randy

great and congratulation

Thank youuuuuuu

Congrats Dawn! It's ok to take a break from one site to work on another. Have you built out a site for your crocheting yet? You have plenty to write about while promoting all the different types of supplies needed for crocheting. I think it'd be a great niche for YouTube as well. People love seeing crafts and DIY projects coming together start to finish. Optimize your YouTube videos to get traffic the same way u do with regular posts and those videos you publish once will keep working for you.

Here's an article I wrote a while back and it's made a big difference for me: https://workfromyourlaptop.com/youtube-video-marketing-strategies

You could even start taking orders for the pieces you do as well. Build it! Then when you get all crocheted out you can go back and build content for your other site. The easiest way to consistent revenue is from consistent content creation :)

Thanks. Haven't started on the crocheting site yet. Have been trying to make stuff. Want to have a stash of items before advertising because some do take a little bit to complete. I'm sure with time I'll get faster, currently moderately so.

Thanks for the article.

Man I wouldn't wait at all. I don't think you're gonna want to concentrate on selling your own pieces, because just like u said, they take some time to make and it wouldn't be scalable with just you doing all the knitting. You could offer up some for sale from time to time, but I'd be using the site to promote already made pieces that your target audience can buy, along with supplies, etc. with a section of DIY so fans of crocheting can follow along on your adventure of learning.

YouTube alone could get u a following, and I'd work in WA affiliate links too for anyone in your target audience looking to build their own business.

Great plan of approach. However, am I supposed to purchase already made items and resell them for profit. Thought about that. I'll being paying full price for an item which I can't markup too much in order for me to make a profit.

Yes, I know people that knit and crochet but they claim they do it for fun and don't want to join me on my venture. There is one that doesn't mind me buying from her but she already sells her stuff. She's really quite good and will gladly let me purchase items from her but again not at a discount. Hence the reason I'm doing this on my own. I make the products on my own the entire profit is mine and mine alone.

Adventures of learning are very humourous, lol

Buying and reselling? no, no, no.. I'm talking about basic affiliate marketing. You write content, link to the product on amazon for example, and when they make their purchase you get a commission.

Buying, reselling, and then shipping out every item wouldn't make any sense. You'd get overwhelmed in a heartbeat.

Ooooooo the other concept. Got it.

Yeah girl! With something as time consuming as crocheting can be, even if you got great at it, your team of 1 would never be able to keep pace with the amount of orders you'd need to sustain real full time profit month to month.

What you do is affiliate marketing 101, and within those articles you publish, the thing every affiliate marketing is looking to do is put their personality into their articles to create engagement. You have that instantly by taking your readers on your journey, mistakes and all, on your individual projects.

You could think about selling those projects you're making from time to time, and I'd definitely create a youtube following, and from those youtube videos you link to your crochet site where likeminded people can buy the actual scarf or whatever that you based your project on, or buy the supplies needed so they can try and make it themself, etc.

And don't forget in any article you right there are going to be those who say "man I'd love to have my own website and do stuff like this" and that's why you link to the training at WA.

All these concepts together is exactly what this training is all about and when you put it together your profits are way higher than they every would be with a team of 1 crocheting 24/7. Plus you don't want to commit suicide by crochet needle cuz I think that's where you'd end up! lol

Thank you for always being so full of information and things I should do and or try.

Suicide by crochet needle would truly suck, lol.

lol that's what I'm here for.
