hi everybody, can you use more then 1 affiiate link on your website? Are do you have to stay stick to 1 company?

This question comes up often, and I admit I have had the same question. One of our members here recently posted a tutorial that was eyeopening. He got the information from another member who is making thousands per month. I was taking notes as I went through both of their tutorials. One of the notes was that one should write a minimum of 400 words per affiliate link, especially on a product review page.

For instance, if you plan on having a page for 10 products with links, you should have 400 word count for each one. Keep that in mind when you put in more than a few affiliate links in each article. I have started reworking my product pages with this in mind.

Here is the tutorial, it covers quite a few issues. It also has the link to the other member's tutorial.

P.S.- I just scrolled down and I think you were asking about how many affiliates you could have? I have so many affiliates that I am presently not using them all. I keep some in reserve in case others don't work out for me or I may want to add them later.

Yes, but the tutorial you give me was also very welcome :)

Hello Debbie, you can place as many Affiliate Program link on your website as you choose. The standard suggestion however is not to over do it. Apparently, it can affect your ranking with the Search Engines.

And can you also put the products on your website then.. are have send them to the website of the seller?

That is up to you Debbie, but again the thing to remember is that you do not want to sell the products. You want to drive traffic towards the affiliate program(s) who are selling the products. You can however, write reviews about products that compliment your niche and then provide links to the AP. Your site should be providing information to your traffic that helps them with a problem.

I believe you are referring to whether you should work with one affiliate program or several of them. If that is the question, then the answer is: you can work with unlimited number of resellers.

yes that was the question :)

As long as you use it naturally, put it to the right place there's no limit to it. It's all about relevancy.

Common sense is really the rules.

:)
Joe

If it fits in with your content absolutely. It needs to be relevant so your audience is not confused.

Thanks :)

Many people use more than one as long as they are somewhat related to the site topic.

okay :) Than you for your response

how do you choose your design? I do not know which one to choose. My niche will be online marketing

Very good advice! Thank you so much :)

Good advice in the post below

Look at other blogs in your niche and see how they look. Let the design of successful blogs in the nice inspire you to put together your own twist on the design.

Make a Google search for 'web design trends 2018' or 'blog design trends 2018' and you will get loads of inspiration from the results. Choosing a modern design for your new blog will make sure you are not visually outdated before you even got started.

Pick colors that convert. There are lots of information to get about the psychology of colors.

Use limited colors and a color palette that matches. (For my newly redesigned Norwegian blog I picked 3 base colors and created 6 variations of each. All images and graphics contain ONLY those 18 colors. I used flat design and cartoon-like images created with graphics from Flaticon. Fewer colors let me create images of 1920x500 at only around 20-25kb size).

Use typography that is easy to read and be consistent throughout the site with the fonts

Pick a Wordpress theme that lets you implement all of the above easily and one that also renders good on mobile devices. Test it well, also on mobile, before implementing. Testing should be available through the website of the image author.
