Whaaam! Mind "Blown"!
As I've just been sitting here, rotating aimlessly between WA classrooms and my Affiliate website, an epiphany happened - almost like a lightening strike!
I caught myself saying to myself (some of the best conversations ever take place there):
"It's not the title of the blog you search for, it's the content of that blog!"
Ker-freakin'-pow!
It didn't occur to me until just now that the phrase I'd been searching for was the title of a post (or page) and NOT the title of the new, niche website.
Isn't it amazing how something that has been in the shadows for so long, suddenly leaps out and shouts "Here I am - I'm what you've been looking for!"
Thank you Ms. Universe for uncovering that small nugget for me

It's like that elusive understanding of a math problem back in school. All of a sudden the lightbulb turns on!
Such is the learning process...

Yes, true. Each time we (and other users) search for a specific piece of information, and if we learned how to do it, it might be our keyword. But still, Jay says, and we can't but agree, a beautiful and brandable domain name is also important.
And I certainly do agree with you, some revelations might come when you least wait for them:)
I completely agree with Jay that a brandable domain name is high on the list.
Thank you for the comment Vera - much appreciated

You have conversations with yourself too:) I have too, and sometimes I look around me if anybody heard me because I even have them out loud;)

You're not alone, Dom. That caused me so much grief when I was going through the Certification' I think I spent at least 3 weeks on that particular lesson. And what made it so frustrating was that keywords seemed to be such an easy topic. I mean, how could I NOT understand keywords!
It's always a good practice to have your keyword in the title of your post, but it's the content that should have all the meat and potatoes.
Yes, it's always good to go back and reread the lessons if the activity is new...I've been missing so much, too.:)
Absolutely, Vera!
