God luck Dom! In your bio you said you were going to try bootcanp so this is a 2nd attemp. Sometimes we just need a mentor and don't feel bad if you don't succeed, everyone is meant for something on this planet we just have to find out what our strong points are and what we liked to do in our past and go ahead and try it. Then if you do find success only about 5 % in any business make big money and 1 to 2 % made a lot of money, and remember the 80 -20 rule 80 % make 20% of the money and vice versa.
So while your doing wa try to figure out what is it you really like, maybe something you did in your past was really interesting, that's why they have life coaches.
I know a girl, well she's almost a grandmother now but she started off as a well known news broadcaster but didn't like it then she tried home decorating for wealthy people, she did really well.
Still she wasn't quite happy she didn't feel fulfilled so she tried life coaching and she loves it! She has a thriving business travels the world giving seminars and running her business and she loves it !
She is also helping people find out what they really want to do, that's exciting.

Good move, Dom, when the motivation slide starts it can creep up on you without the realization that it's happening, until it's too late.
I think at times we can all be change adverse, so taking the time to reflect can make all the difference long term especially if we take action on our reflections. Sounds like a plan and vision moving forward, best wishes.

I have this quote right next to my computer that says: "Instead of focusing upon money, put your focus upon serving a purpose that will benefit many others - And success will follow!"

And to be blunt here, it's not always easy, BUT it does work. I am living proof that it does!

Hey Dom ...it looks like you are writing my story....
what i found recently is a course on productivity where you write down what you are working on and what you are doing...sort of project management...
so now i have started ( another) site and as i like helping people and am technical it is within this niche....
i have blocked the next three months (at the moment) on this project....
now down to what i am doing daily...
i have a few sites now and they all need a bit of looking at...so i have a maintenance day... nowt but checking hte sitesf or updates are they working...do i need to add anything....what are the stats like... do i have any more ideas for them...and yes that does take all day....
then there is content creation...i need to create content for my new site ...so there are two days set aside for this (today being one) and this includes research, ideas, outlining and content creation....
and as i really don't know enough about my subject i have a training day... i have found a course that is helping a lot t oboost my knowledge...so this day is on that and rooting out any other knowledge i have come across in my research....
and the last day is a floater... a what....if any of the days have overrun then this is the day to tidy things up for the next week...
oir try a new idea... a bit of a free day but working on the project...
konwing what day it should be takes a lot of the pressure off sorting out what to do....knowing what project i am working on helps focus the mind consciously and unconsciously on what i have to do and look into....
does it work, it appears to be a month later.....
did i find it difficult...yes at the start as it was/is a major change in worknig habits.....
i do still go through what you are gonig through with hte figures but onstead of worknig it out in days i work it back to visitors and average cost of visitor and really scare myself with hte numbers....
but i know this process is not a linear one but an exponential one...so any small gains towards the start are 'lucky' and you are really looking at a min of three months before anything happens...
i have found that if you know your audience very well....and i mean very well...talking to them daily...then it does make creating content a lot easier...
if i look at the number of words on my recent posts and they top out at 5k, this is because i know the audience and picked a slightly wider topic...
but my advise would be look at your skills...you have some... what are your strengths...and seriously think of going with those...
i know it is a bit of a let down and maybe even a bit cliche but i am now a bit more settled...maybe that was the course on the four brain types we have and try to pull myself into the prefrontal one rather than the emotional primitive, paleolimbic or neolimbic brains....believe me that was an interesting course on how we think and whats going on up top.....
and write it down ....put it in view so you know what day you are on...and if you don't get that post finished then put it to one side until the next post day or floater day as you knw owhat you need to do on the other days....it takes hte pressure off and puts it on at the same time...so you tend to get the post finished on time more and other tasks finished on time more....so your productivity goes up....
but enough about what i am doing ....
what are we going to do with you......
