How To Write The 'Perfect' Blog Post Pt. 2
OK - so 1 week ago I was talking about blog posts and how to write them. I decided that I would try and write the 'perfect' blog post for a niche that is 'perfect' for me.
So, I physically wrote down 10 'things' that I was really interested in and I plugged those into Google Trends in groups of 5 and I took the top 2 from each group in terms of the interest shown over the past 5 years.
I then compared those 4 'things' in Google Trends and found that 2 of them far outstripped the other 2 in terms of interest shown over the last 12 months. Also the 2 chosen products are complementary to each other (by pure luck)
So, I initially thought I'd run a Siterubix site as the domain name I really wanted was taken - however, after messing around on a site called Namemesh (which helps you come up with a domain name) I chose the dot net extension for the domain name I wanted.
I then produced the 'background' pages for the site - Privacy, affiliate disclaimer, About etc. and I also created a header image for the site (using Canva - quite good but I'm not sure of my artistic abilities :-/ ).
So, this week I will be identifying my target market, discovering what they really need to hear about (their pain points) and I'll be reading other blogs to find out the 'voice' that other, successful, bloggers use to address their tribes.
So, I'll be researching the 'who', the 'what' and the 'how'
Then I'll actually get down and write the draned thing - lol

Good luck, though you shouldn't need it after all the work you've done.
