Following In The Footsteps Of Edison
Although I am in no way comparing myself to that inventor extraordinaire Mr. T Edison, I find myself echoing his progress in that I have a found a way that didn't work - well, all knowledge is good knowledge as they say and I haven't lost anything except time and gained experience.
Yes, I deleted my siterubix site as it really wasn't working at all - never mind, I'll still be using Siterubix sites but as a testbed for plugins or to check out certain fonts/layouts/themes etc. It's wonderful to be able to have them to hand almost instantly.
Right, well, it is now 10.30pm Sunday 1st August so, as usual, time to think of another path to travel.
I have been thinking about the one and only referral I got through promoting WA and that was via a blog about SEO. Why I didn't continue with it I just don't know - perhaps it was that Fear of Success thing I banged on about a couple of blogs ago.
So, I did a little research around 'seo' and saw that a lot of requests for 'examples of seo', 'how does seo work' and 'is seo good for marketing' kind of questions were being returned; which got the sludgy, gray matter chuntering away.
Something all that chuntering came up with seems a good initial plan - have 2 websites, 1 talking about the mechanics of SEO (and promoting WA as the money-maker) and the other actually being SEO'd as per the write-up. This 'other' website would be a OEC, product-promoting website - a typical 'niche website' as we are taught to produce.
Right, that's the current working plan - I'll do some initial exploration this week then, as the budget allows, next weekend I'll be buying a couple of domains and running with it.

I like siterubix- I also use it to test features before applying them on my main sites. Pretty good feature on here at WA.
