Facebook Groups for WA?

Digital Anarchy

I’ve seen a few over the years, but they always seem to be riddled with spammers. The groups are victims of their own success because, if they have a decent number of members, it inevitably brings digital anarchy with it.

The groups fill with nonsense and everyone piles in to make their pitch, hijacking threads and basically rendering the groups useless. That is what we’re faced with. But that didn’t deter me.

I decided that I still wanted to set up a Facebook Group of my own to help people out and give free tips and links away. it would be heavily linked with my own WA promotion, but I also wanted people to ask questions and clue themselves up on what affiliate marketing is about 😎

So I formed The Wealthy Affiliate Marketer (link is in my WA profile here). See what you think. The graphic was made with Canva.

If you have Facebook and want to Friend me up there, please do. I have 182 members at the moment, but a few more WA people would be nice. 😎

Interesting, hope it works well for you. I am always a good lurker in these things.

Noticed you lurking 🤩

I'm still only on the Starter and apparently we cannot see links of Premium Members. I meant the Side Hustle Lounge.

Ah right, just search it in at Facebook then @sidehustlelounge

That's awesome, Dave. I hope it works out for you.

Best,

Myra

Anything to help. People don’t realise what’s under their noses 😏

Dave

Interesting idea, Dave. Hope it all works out for you there.

Worth a try mate 👍

Biggest thing I can suggest is make sure you approve all posts before they appear. Then monitor the comments non-stop.

I run the FB groups for both Awin for Bloggers and the Official ShareASale Bloggers Group, for affiliates who are in our networks. It keeps me busy, but it is a great way to share information quickly. We require answers to some basic questions before we let anyone in, and verify that they are indeed affiliates with our network. It keeps the spam 99% out! Perhaps you could figure out some qualifying questions?

Best wishes on your new group!

Yes, I have approval turned on for all posts and replies. I also make answers to questions compulsory, including group rules. I ask for their email address also. That seems to work 😎

I use FB to stay in touch with old friends but I wouldn't do this myself.

It is kept completely separate from usual family FB stuff. It’s opt-in, so you only see it if you want to.

Dave

Where is the link... cannot access it...?

Which link? I can’t put it in my blog post (not allowed). There’s a link on my WA profile.

Dave

for the FB group...

I think an FB Group could be a good lead source to build WA.

It needs to have multiple moderators admins to protect the house.

Yes, it’s a great way I think. It allows control of the offer and as it grows more mods can be assigned.

Dave

I hope that works out for you, Dave! For me, Fakebook seems to be too wishy-washy, but then, what do I know? Keep us posted.

Jeff

I have a good friend and fellow coach who runs it very well on his part. I take a lot of tips from him 😎

Dave

That is a good person to know, Dave!

Jeff😎
