So I have this plug in installed but nothing is showing up on my website. What am I doing wrong??
Facebook Open Graph, Google+ and Twitter Card Tags
Have you disabled settings for Facebook/Google+/Twitter in Yoast because these 2 plugins clash.
go to “SEO > Dashboard > Features > Advanced settings pages > choose Enabled and Save changes”. Then you can reach “SEO > Social”. Then in SEO> Social you can disable the settings.
OK - it does still sound like a clash between 2 plugins both trying to manage interactions with FB etc
Nothing changed. Is there maybe a conflict and I don't need the "Facebook Open Graph, Google+ and Twitter Card Tags' plug in as well? If that's the case I cannot find where I enter my details in the SEO menu
Depends what you actually want to do. If you just want links to your profiles on your page then

If you want more then a plugin will be required. Try this for recommendation

So I deactivated the other plug in and have my URLs in the SEO Meta and updated it. Still nothing showing up. I'm really not sure what I'm missing...ugh.
So strange. I follow the instructions and I do not have a social media icon widget option nor can I add it. Do you think that may do with my theme? I looked in other themes but they don't list anything about whether or not these options are available...
It might be - there is definitely a clash of some sort. What theme? I am going offline now be back tomorrow and can carry on looking then.
