The Possible Journey

Thanks for stopping by! I am just beginning my journey with Wealthy Affiliate and am still working through getting started with the training modules. From what I have seen so far, this is absolutely terrific! I have decided to jump in with both feet, hold myself accountable and invest in my future by going all in and taking the step of becoming a premium member.

I have been in a very challenging spot for several years, stuck in a dead end job and choosing to stay there for years just for the predictability and benefits, but definitely not the satisfaction or financial freedom that I have my sights set on. I often find myself in burnout mode more often than any happy place frame of mind. Like most people, I have gone through several ups and downs, entertained changing careers or going back to school, always to find myself moaning and staying stuck in place knowing that those particular paths would take me to the same ultimate end...little ability to control my own future and enjoy what I am doing, also realizing that ultimately those choices would limit the ability to enrich life for myself and my family. I'm just glad I realized the limitations before investing the time and money to go down those paths. Don't get me wrong, I know for some those are the perfect paths - but for me, they just aren't.

I am a firm believer that knowledge is power, so when I started to look into affiliate marketing, it became quickly apparent that there are so many challenges to really finding all of the information you need all in one place. It's out there, but scattered everywhere, and some of it outdated - making an overwhelming challenge to find good and detailed information, learn it right and learn it well. It was seeming to be a daunting task. Getting familiar with Wealthy Affiliate, it is already becoming apparent that everything anyone would need is literally right here. Truly a relief! With all of the resources, classrooms and training, not to mention the robust community around it, this is definitely the place to be. Not only is knowledge power, but to know you have support along the way....well that's just the cherry on top.

I am only beginning the journey, and I have decided to hold myself accountable by signing up as a premium member early to help me focus on staying on task with the goal of ultimately finding that all of the efforts and time I put in will help me achieve the life I really want to lead, not just for myself, but for my family as well. What better investment is there than in your own future? What better place to find than the community with a wealth of information to help you learn it right, learn it well and help support you along the way? I'm excited! I know it will not be easy, that it will take time and effort, but with the time and effort I have already put in (wasted) with working for someone else for years, it seems that my time will be well spent and much more satisfying. Of course, I do realize it's not time to quit my day job just yet - but ultimately that's my goal.

I'm looking forward to the journey ahead and am so glad to be a part of this community and experience. I do believe this program makes my impossible journey, The Possible Journey, and so it begins.
