When you work with a team of people, how do you treat them?
People will follow you if they believe in you, but if they don't believe in you or your tactics as a leader, you will lose them.
As a team leader it's your job to help your team, and members of yourteam will expect you to be there. A team leader knoows when someone needs to be praised for their success or that a pat on the back is all they need.
Communication is a very important part and the difference between being a great leader or an average leader. A great leader takes the time to get to know each team member and their specialty, so he can bring the best out of them. While an average leader doesn't care about anyone but himself and how the success of the team reflects on him.
