when looking at writing content you need to have a strategy in place. For instance:
1. How much research are you putting into your articles?
2. Do you monitor what is happening in the industry that you're working in?
3. How do you generate your leads?
4. Do you use pictures with in your content?
4. Do you use evergreen content--- such as e-books or white papers to market your website and generate followers to read your content?
5. How engaging are your articles to your readers?
6. Do you incorporate links into your articles?
7. Have you ever thought about repackaging your content into a product that you can sell?
There are a lot of things to consider when using content to market your website and build a following of subscribers to your content so you can sell them products from companies where you are in affiliate, or your own products that you create.

Very good thoughts! I recently decided to change my focus to another niche as my current one just wasn't doing it for me. You have some very good questions that I am definitely going to consider for this new niche.
