Marketing Facts About Social Media
Millennials and Generation Z are very comfortable using social media. But the Baby Boomers are having to learn to accept the changes in how business is done in the 21st Century.
The Baby Boomer generation are at or about to reach retirement age but many are not ready to retire, therefore many are looking to work from home in an onlune business.
Here's some interesting markketing facts:
40% of all Facebook users are over the age of 35.
52% of people between the age of 55-64(known as the Baby Boomers)are Internet users and have joined a social network
93% of adults in the USA use the Internet and are on facebook
What makes these facts even more interesting is that that is the generation who grew up using manual typewriters and can remember when electric typewriters were invented. Also the only computers that were in use filled a whole room and to use them you had to know DOS.
Technology has totally changed how and where business is done today.

Generation Xers like me... Well I remember the typewriter, the cassette tape and vhs, and landline phonea!
Oh my goodness - now you are talking! :-) We still had the landlines where you had to count the short and the long ringtones - ours was one short and two long tones. And I can remember how you could hear the click sound when the nosy neighbours were listening in on the conversation. :-) LOL!
