Every Religion Has Their Own Golden Rule

Religion has its place in the world and it helps give our lives meaning. The real issue that many religions don't respect each others religions or practices.

How you practice your religion is personal to you. Your beliefs and practices are what you learned as a child taking religious classes or from your family.

The problem is that many never take a class on religion to learn about religious beliefs or practices other than their own.

Judaism is the first religion to believe in one g-d and Christianity (Catholicism) is the first break away when Jesus was seen as the messiah and the son of g-d. From Catholicism you have Protestants, Baptists, Presbyterians, etc. There are different sects of Christianity but they all have the same basic beliefs, just like there are different sects of Judaism---Hasidim(follow the old traditions---ultraorthodox) Orthodox, Conservative and Reform.

I don't mind talking about religion with someone, but I hate when they try to tell me what to believe when they know nothing about my faith.

The Jewish Calendar dates back to 5778---the only holiday that always coincide are Passover and Easter and very rarely they don't because the last supper for Jesus on Friday was the first sedar for Passover---which this year falls on 3-30-18

If only people would remember the golden rule, from whichever religion, the world would be more peaceful. If only!!
