Parents like to script their children and tell them what profession they should be in for their own reasons not taking into account whether that child is the right fit for that profession or not. More times than not when that child follows throuh to please the parent they never succeed becaquse it's not their true calling.
Then too a child may admire a parent and the difference they make in their work and want to follow in their footsteps. Then, they fail miserably, because it's not their true calling. When you truly know yourself you'll know your true calling.
We're all unique people who have our place in the world, it's just a matter of your finding it for yourself.
