R is for Road Trip

Road trips are my favorite types of vacations.

The main reason is that there is no schedule to follow. We don’t have to be anywhere at any specific time. The pace is our own. The day can be adventurous or it can be relaxing, whatever fits our mood. Our final destination and personal time available will determine the pace we keep and the adventures we choose.

Of course, the destination can change depending on what we encounter along the way. This unexpected aspect of road trips is another exciting part. As the road sign indicates, there are curves up ahead. We don’t know what to expect, yet we can rest assured it will be nothing we cannot handle and probably something very exciting. The road keeps us on a safe path. There can be detours but eventually we will get to where we want to go.

The everyday people met along the way add so much enjoyment to the trip. Conversations with them give us an honest depiction of the area that no travel brochure or spa resort can provide. We can take the same road trip again and again and have brand new experiences each time. The new people we meet add a different level of enjoyment. Our eyes pick up different scenery that went unnoticed the first time around.

I can easily view Wealthy Affiliate as my own personal road trip. It provides a framework to follow, but the experiences are my own. The pace is my own. There is structure, but I navigate it in a way that fits my goals and skills. Depending on the members in your network, your experience may be different from mine. We can choose to take the training over and our experience will be enhanced. Our eyes will see different things because we have a new, more educated skill level. Learning at Wealthy Affiliate is never finished. Depending on our chosen niche, we will have new challenges and meet new people to help us grow in a different direction. Each one will add another layer to our understanding. The members give a richness and honesty to the program that you just cannot get from the training.

There is always another curve to take to view things from a different perspective. Our goals, schedules, and involvement change along this road trip called Wealthy Affiliate. We start out wanting to learn about affiliate marketing, and then we come upon a curve. We realize to get to that final goal; we have to navigate our way through the social media roads. However, not to worry, the map (training) is always there to guide us along.

The important thing to remember on any road trip…have fun and be prepared for the unexpected!
