THE PRESENT TIME.

So, I've been a Premium member of Wealthy Affiliate since December of last year.

As of now, with all the time and effort invested here, it has been a special and unique experience, particularly in my personal situation.

A year ago after graduation, I had zero idea what I would necessarily pursue and encounter after high school. Throughout the course of my junior and senior years, I had, however, been developing an underlying interest in earning money from the internet.

It was either go straight to a four-year college without a solid game plan or wait the situation out by attending a community college first and encountering other niches and fields to find something solid.

Lo and behold, I came across this platform and ended up highly satisfied and renewed in my beliefs that making money from the internet was possible AND structured.

REFLECTION.

One of the most authentic parts of all this was the fact that my path wasn't even cliche: I HAD been let go from a job at a restaurant here in town and I wasn't attending college yet in the Fall semester last year.

It was a horrible time considering I had also lost my girlfriend and almost got her back last month because of all this.

Not to mention the fact that I had been previously scammed by EZ Money Formula my junior year and I was also desperately trying to get into this industry through another 19-year-old kid from Idaho.

The culmination of these things lead me to go off the grid completely from my friends and family, particularly on social media. To this day, I'm STILL not back in the so-called "awareness" of a few people here in town.

BIG CHANGES.

However, the thing is that "Tough Times Don't Last. Tough PEOPLE do." -Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Despite my circumstances, current and/or recent, I'm on a very grounded foundation with Wealthy Affiliate. I actually dub this as my new home for many reasons, but especially because of the integrity, knowledge, and nurture acquired from Kyle, Carson, and the respectable community.

UNDERLYING TRUTH.

One of the interesting things to be noted is that I graduated from high school with Honors.

During an induction ceremony to the National Honor Society, I had a particular quote selected for my slide, by Jose Ortega y Gasset:

'YO SOY YO Y MI CIRCUNSTANCIA." (I am myself and my circumstance.)

This quote is ridiculously true of my situation, then and now. For the most part, I've been successful under any type of situation that's ever come my way, even if I didn't put myself in that situation.

I have been disliked, doubted, manipulated, and wronged. It is also just to admit that I've done these things to others in the past.

But I also developed a quote that is my own:

"Mistakes are only as valuable as the lessons learned from them." -DroGodina.

I truly believe this is the case with everyone. After all, what good is making an error or a mistake that you do not benefit from in any way, shape, or form?

It goes without saying that no human on the planet is perfect, but let it also be known that the very DEFINITION of the word "perfect" has flaws in it.

If something is perfect, it generally has no flaws. Fair enough.

But perfection also entails COMPLETION. Nothing in the entire world is ever complete, especially my story. As a matter of fact, it's just beginning.

FINAL REMARKS.

This blog is a revelation of the things that I particularly had to go through just to START a path to success.

Nothing in life is given; everything in life is definitely earned through hard work and perseverance. The only difference between being here at Wealthy Affiliate and working at Petey's Pub And Grill is that I have the chance to own myself rather than work under an employer in what felt like a sketchy working environment from Day 1.

It could be an entire blog in itself, but in short, I had unfortunately stepped into an unethical working environment. One that apparently had a history of ridding itself of employers in the past. But I'm glad to have left that establishment when I did.

The biggest difference now is that I directly get to reap the benefits this time, without having to deal with the injustice of working without benefits, as I feel was exactly the case at Petey's.

Nobody other than myself has control of my personal growth and development when it comes to working. I always knew deep down in my mind and heart that I had a gift of working extremely hard and efficiently.

That is something I will prove irrefutably and without question these next couple of weeks.

This platform is my new home, and I will do everything to see success in this tight-knit, established community of some of the finest connections to be made. I hope to inspire many different minds, young and old, to take control of their own success so they can reap everything they truly work for. Thank you, Wealthy Affiliate community.
