Use Your Email Signature
I bet you have seen excellent trainings and informative posts on how to build an email list to support your online business. If you are like me, you had a huge email list before you had an online business. Not only that, you probably receive lots emails daily from people not on that list. Often, you answer them with an email.
If you aren't already doing it, I suggest that you use all the non-business emails you send daily to point people to your website. It's easy to do. It only has to be done once.
The image above is a portion of the settings preferences in gmail. There is a signature setting. You can add any text you want to advertise your website through that setting. You can even add a hyperlink to your website. All email platforms offer this is some form.
A brief signature is not intrusive. E-signatures are common. Choose a tiny font if you are embarrassed about pointing people to your website. The signature appears right below the text of your email so everyone will notice it. In the image, it says "Check out My Website." That's kind of blunt. How about - "Your Name" - Affiliate Marketer - as a hyperlink. It can be anything. Your signature will be seen by everyone who reads an email from you. Out of curiosity, some of the recipients will open the link. Some of those will interact with your website. In any case, it's a simple way to make sure that "You keep on fishin'."
